this is not true!!! I've adjusted my exercise without losing weight and it decreased my daily allowance as well. Maybe because it expects you to eat more on the days you exercise??? I'm not really sure

I, too, am a night shift nurse and work on increasing protein. My goal is to consume 25% daily. For salads, I love to use the flavor sensations tuna in place of dressing. I've never been fond salad dressings anyway. Feel free to add me and check out my diary! I also use protein bars/drinks.

I recommend the Zumba 2 for Wii and try looking on Craigslist.

Look at your progress in WEEKLY segments. You can't gain 7lbs in a week. I weigh myself weekly and watch my progress weekly (better on the mobile app). See how you stand that way. It may not be as bad as you think.

I go through spells myself. Right now, I'm doing really good! But in a few weeks, I'll exercise 0/4 times that week! I know it. With me just stopping smoking I'm waiting for the depression to hit. Trying to prevent with the exercise and endorphins though. I, too, could you some support! Feel free to add me!

When I was in my teens, I had a guy dump me because my "Rack was too big". What??? It was the craziest thing I ever heard! I still laugh about it now. I think he just wanted to end it and said the first thing that came to mind.

I LOVE quinoa! I saw this thread and HAD to read. It's great with Italian sausage and speg sauce. Yum! I also mixed with corn and tuna and add a little Italian dressing for flavor..BAM! Delicious lunch! It's also great to just throw some in your salads for some added texture. It's so very versatile! I sub it for couscous…

I was wondering if it was for a recipe or something! I think that's a great idea for chicken salad! I always just kind of guess-timate. If you think you took away about 1/2 the bagel's weight, log it as half.

The best exercise to do to lose weight is one you enjoy! If it's walking, leg lifts, whatever. If you don't enjoy it then you won't stick with it. It has to be something that can fit into your daily routine. I enjoy walking with an occasional circut training dvd.
