Usually I do. If I work out before my shift, I'm tired, lethargic and sore. I'm still new to the working out and being a floor nurse, being tired and lethargic are not a good option for me! At first blush, going for a nice 2 mile walk is relaxing, helps me to unwind and I think I can go to sleep. But it never works.

On top of all the good advice you received from jrm, make sure you're not exercising before bed. That always keeps me up. If you do...take a COLD shower to bring your body temp back down. Still not great, but it helps. Sometimes that's the only time you have.

I just had mine removed and then replaced about 4 weeks apart a few weeks ago. I haven't experienced any of that. i have had some bleeding but that's normal and much better than post-pregnancy bleeding.

I mean, be smart about it. Watch for any increase in pain, redness around the area, if you feel a hardened area around/under the site, or drainage/pus. Obviously. But otherwise, I think you'll be fine.

Okay. People are making a big deal out of this. Get bandaids and Neo tomorrow. Heal one day to make sure that the hole is sealed and closed up, then you're fine.

I agree with Mandy! I've used Slim Fast shakes/snacks and I always felt swollen/bloated. I'm very sodium sensitive and I don't know it was that or just in my head. Veggies made me feel much better!

One of my favorite side dishes is quinoa. Even the kids enjoy it because it's interesting looking. For healthy snacks, I keep cheese sticks/laughing cow wedges and plenty of yogurt and fruit in the house. Always a good choice.
