I DO miss having the variety of so many options of routes just outside the front door, and also the aerobic push of such a large change in elevation over such a short distance. I am finding the local terrain sooooo unchallenging.

WAAAAA!!!!! It's SNOWING out there right now! I would SOOO much rather have "April rain bringing about May flowers" .... particularly in light as it was 18 C (~65 F ) and brightly sunny with daffodils in full bloom most of my trip in the second half of March.

This works!!! While in the UK, we were in a position to "self-cater" the whole time, and made a point to have only the minimum possible dishes / cutlery / pots in play.
