True Lemon and True Lime. It's crystallized lemon or lime in little packets. I also add stevia and either blackberries or blueberries with some slivered almonds.

Weight Watchers makes these 100 calorie Giant Fudge ice cream bars. They are so tasty--almost like frozen chocolate mousse and have some protein too. They also make a smaller bar that has 45 calories.

I am seeing a nutritionist and she suggested trying dates or prunes. Both have fiber and the dates are a good source of potassium. I bought my fresh dates in the produce dept. I'm not sure what variety they are, but they taste like caramel and are a little chewy. They are one of my new go-to snacks when I'm craving…

You look fantastic! Congratulations!

I liked WW years ago when they used food group exchanges. That is what my nutritionist does and it's very effective in teaching portion control. I log my exchanges in a food journal and log on MFP as a double-check against my calories. I've been seeing the nutritionist for a month and have lost 5 pounds. I am a lifetime…

Stir-frying veggies with meat is an easy way to get more veggies. You can use any protein that you like with your favorite vegetables. I made one last night with beef, broccoli and carrots. To cut down on prep time, you can use those steam bags or frozen vegetables. I find most of my recipes on myrecipes.com. I like that…

A previous poster mentioned Tru Lemon which I like. I recently tried Tru Lime and it's great too. Just add a little of your favorite sweetener and it's like Key Lime pie! I usually add some type of berry and a teaspoon of almond slivers since my Greek yogurt is the non-fat variety.

My thoughts exactly! I do it because I have digestive issues.

I want to get an HRM. I had a Polar and the battery died. I can't get the battery replaced at a watch repair shop since they told me it would not be waterproof. I still think Polar is the brand I will buy. What model is good for gym workouts and classes? I don't need one that is geared for runners and the foot pod, etc.

Looks great! I need to make this.

These recipes look great! Thanks for sharing!

Years ago, I would buy them, but they're just processed junk in a smaller package. Since I discovered I am gluten intolerant over a year ago, I do not buy them since they all have wheat in them.

Great article. thanks for posting.

I eat gluten free since I discovered I am intolerant about a year ago. There are a lot of good gluten free alternative products out there and you just have to figure out which ones you like through trial and error. Gluten free bread products tend to have more carbs because they are dense, so I have to be vigilant about…

Yes, I had my first appointment two weeks ago. I want to drop about 12 lbs. and I also have hypothyroidism. On top of that, I am gluten intolerant, so if I eat anything with gluten, I gain weight from that. The dietitian has me on a balanced plan with more carbs than I was previously eating. I have to be careful with…

bump. I need one too!

Yes! I get those itchy welts also! I have not had testing done for intestinal damage, but the welts are enough for me to not eat foods with gluten! It's tough because it's in everything! I do not suggest trying the gluten free lifestyle unless someone is truly gluten intolerant or has Celiac disease. I have found some…
