I have this same issue, I am thinning out everywhere but my midsection, it is finally starting to shrink but it is taking its sweet time doing it! Keep at it! It will come off in due time!

I work in the food service industry it is a very labor intensive job but when you set up your MFP it asks you how active you are during your normal day to day. Did you set it to very active? I get those same pains but in both legs right above the knee. It is the tendons that connect from your hip to your kneecap. My doc says to be very careful because it can easily get further injured.
