My 2 cents, but that's when you're body is repairing (building) after you've made micro tears in your muscles. Sleep the most productive repair/growth time, but those rest days (especially since you're going to fail) are also essential for growth and as you've stated to recover in order to go to fail on your next workout.…

It doesn't annoy me :) I was on FB for about 2 or 3 weeks before posting a profile pic. It's been almost a month on MFP...one day I'll take the time.

Heading to Vegas with the family for a Sunday wedding...and took off Monday as well WOOOOOOO HOOOOOOO!!!

Yep, with all that activity, you should stick with the same level. You're body needs those calories for repair and to keep you from bogging down for the next day.

Have you tried coconut milk creamer...only 20 calories per table spoon and some healthy fats to boot. I have stopped drinking coffee, but use the creamer for my Teecino (coffee alternative).

As long as you're not in pain that would require rest or an office visit with your doc just keep going. When I did Insanity, the hardest time I had was the first few days of month 2. Good luck and enjoy your workout tomorrow.

I prefer to show up early and irks me when others are late, but communication goes a long way if someone knows they're going to be late.

Have to agree with Johnyutah...he should get a check up before beating on those knees to be on the safe side. Until then there are many upper body exercises that he can do along with the eliptical, bike, swimming, modified yoga/pilates. Hope all goes well and just by you asking, I know he's getting the support he needs.

There are also free apps for push ups, pull ups, squats, etc... that you can download to your phone. I try to work out regularly at home and at the gym, but I also like to use the apps during a break at work or during lunch. The individual workouts are short, so you can combine the only equipment is your body (except pull…

I'll add that your training plan should incorporate exercises that you enjoy. There is nothing wrong with trying something new...you may like it, but if your workout involves exercises that you just do not want to do or that bore you it can be more difficult to follow through with your plans. Have Fun!!

I weigh in on Wednesdays (1st day of MFP) mid morning since that's when I weighed myself the first time.

I've been on MFP for 10 days (the misses introduced me to it) and I've already lost about 2 lbs. Until you track your calories, you don't realize how much you over eat and this site is so easy to use. Enjoy!!

I've used cheat days for years, but simply to maintain some sanity by letting loose. It helps me look forward to certain foods that I don't normally have--a treat--but wouldn't recommend more than once a week. Just my 2 cents.

Everyone falls off, but you've already completed the hardest part...getting back on. Welcome Back!!

FT4 may just be defective or needs to be reset...not sure if resetting is possible on all HRMs.
