Up at 4, workout from 5-6. It's the only time I can fit it in.

I do not count housework as exercise no matter how hard and long I work at it. I only count intentional exercise. I think of housework and other as an undocumented bonus.

I'm in! Need a motivator and this is it. We'll all be celebrating our victory at the stroke of midnight :)

You are doing this for all the RIGHT reasons. Bravo! Your heart and lungs are thanking you every day! I look forward to reading about your success in July.

This looks great. Thanks for sharing. It will be on next week's menu!

People who talk to me during my 5 a.m. workout. Really? It's 5 a.m. for the love of God. People who don't wipe down the machines and leave TV's on. Lazy slobs. People who stop, sit down on a piece of the circuit equipment and start texting or surfing the web. Put the phone down for 30 minutes. Geeze.

Tom Brady, NE Pats QB, at work. He was meeting with a group of our executives. The president of my company heard I was a fan and called me in to meet him and have photo taken. Not a stitch of make up and hair in a ponytail (me not him). Mr. Brady couldn't have been more gracious and down to earth. PS - The camera doesn't…

It's those changes that create a healthier lifestyle and not simply a diet. Good for you! Keep up the good work.

Yay! Welcome to the "Early Show"! I'm up at 4 a.m. and at the gym by 4:50. The first few days were rough, but now if I miss a day, I feel terrible and groggy. The first time I pulled into the parking lot at 4:47 a.m., I was shocked by the large number of cars. I think many want to take advantage of the time before the…

Just for today, I will focus on how much stronger I am, the more energetic I feel and that I am so much better off than I was 10 months ago. Finally, I will focus on the pride I feel for maintaining a healthier lifestyle for the past 10 months.

I feel silly asking, but there are no silly questions, right? What's an NSV? Maybe I've had one! :)

I try to do something every day. I usually get to the gym 3-4 mornings a week. When I don't get to the gym, I do 30-60 minutes of Yoga at home. There are some great Yoga work outs available from my cable provider via On Demand. I try to walk every day at work for an hour 5 days a week. Yoga is a REAL work out.

I am a slow loser a total of 31 pounds in 10 months, but slow and steady wins the race. Don't get discouraged. You may not see the results on the outside, but your heart, lungs and entire body thank you for taking good care :)

Keep working and tracking. You are doing amazing. it took me 7 months to lose 31 pounds! I just keep plugging and think "as long as the numbers aren't going up, I'm good."

Brought tears to my eyes. Beautiful. Thank you.

I reward myself with new workout T's and yoga pants - in smaller sizes :). I also reward myself with manicures.

Welcome! This site has changed my life. My doctor is thrilled with my lab results and I feel terrific. My sister and one of my closest friends are my work out buddies. We go to the gym rather than going out to eat. I tried WW. Counting points didn't work for me. With MFP, I can make the right food choices. Real food! The…

I reward myself with a manicure or an inexpensive piece of costume jewelry. Last week I was finally able to feel comfortable in wearing yoga pants and a fitted T shirt. I bought them on sale from Old Navy. The shirt was only $300. I love the idea of the $1 savings. I'm going to try it.

I use whole wheat pitas for a great thin crust and top with a little sauce, cheese, cooked chicken, roasted red peppers, chopped onion and fresh mushrooms. Delish! Whole Foods and most super markets carry their own whole wheat dough.

I woke up today to an ice and snow covered car at 4 a.m., sighed, put on my coat and started scraping. Left the gym feeling great! I am not a winter girl. My morning workouts help me get through the long winter days. As I'm working out, I think about summer, days at the beach and finally being able to wear a cute little…

Feeling unhealthy and worrying that I'm cutting my life short. I love my life and want to enjoy my family and friends as long as possible!

You are not alone! I have always been a big night time before bed eater. I could eat more between the hours of 9 & 11 p.m. than I ate all day. Salty, then sweet and then I'd think "Well I've already blown it" and just keep eating. I'd go to bed, full, defeated and miserable. Until I joined MFP, I woke up every night with…

This link is to one of my favorite Crock-pot recipes - Chicken Taco Soup. For a healthier option, you can use a lower sodium taco seasoning. The data is also in the food tracking data base. Bonus!…

Thank you for all of the great suggestions. Looking forward to checking them out. I am proof positive that yoga aids in weight loss.

1/2 whole wheat pita, Perrier, Organic baby greens salad with grilled chicken breast and 2 pieces of cubed cheese - Munster and cheddar. Oh and 1 mini york peppermint patty. Keeping it honest :)

People started to notice my weight loss around 15/20 pounds. Some still haven't noticed or said anything, but that's okay. I felt better almost immediately even at losing just 8 pounds, I was more energetic, sleeping better and no more heartburn. I'm doing this for me and a better quality of life. If the comments come…

Perfect. Love it.

Where do I begin? No more heartburn or insomnia. I can walk up the stairs at work and still hold a conversation. I've reconnected with one of my oldest and dearest friends. We try to walk together at least once a week. She's one of my biggest cheerleaders. More energy. My 11 year old son is calling me skinny. Believe me, I…

That sounds good and I love using my crock-pot. Would you mind sharing the recipe? I'm making grilled shrimp, quinoa and sugar snap peas.
