Sounds like you need a 'system reset'. Eat your BMR calories for a whole week usually between 1500 and 2000 depending on your activity level, chillout and don't do any crazy workouts and then kick start the system with your current 1200-1500 and 3 times per week workout (add another 5 minutes here or there in your workout)…

It's domestic abuse and controlling.

I was constantly belittled. I divorced him. You deserve better. There is no excuse for bullying even more so if you have children with him as you are teaching your children that belittling and bullying is acceptable and they will accept it from their partners. So unless you enjoy watching your daughters and sisters getting…

She's right!!! That's what happened to me!! I stopped losing for about 3 weeks (not an ounce!) and then suddenly on week 4, I lost 2lbs in a day! I was getting frustrated and so during that final week I weighted myself every morning to make sure my scales were accurate. I've since continued to lose steadily at 1/2 per week…

I forgot to mention. I'm not doing this forever, it's only to come out of a plateau. I'll be upping back to 1500 cals again. It is not sustainable on the long run and de-moralising if you're not used to it.
-
I'm on 1200 cals per day and unless you're eating 4-6 small meals.. it's a nightmare. I would have my first breakfast of a protein shake or toast and jam. I'd have a second breakfast of ready brek (a type of porridge) with skimmed milk. I'd have a larger lunch, often pre-cooked and reheated in the office. I'd have a snack…

It's a great start if you're not the gym type and are unfit. The machines were not intense enough for me but it's a great place where you don't have to plan your workout or wait around for a machine etc. If you're already quite fit, may I suggest a proper gym. I have a 'couple membership' with my boyfriend and the gym is…

I can't see anything wrong with that but the key is consistency. Further, you don't really want to throw yourself immediately into the deep end, try starting gradually and sustaining those efforts. Best of luck! K x

Do you use Curves smart or a hrm? My hrm varies from 195 - 230 or so.

Sorry Crystal Palace is too far for me but would've love to come. Will keep you guys in mind as I have friends in the Lewisham and may visit if you're holding a walk.

I tend to have a protein shake when I have my sugar dip at about 2pm and the cookie jar in the office looks fabulous. Also if I'm travelling, I carry protein powder serving in my purse and and shaker bottle for on the run so I am not tempted with drive thru McDonalds, KFC or whatever. I recommend sticking to real food…

My boyfriend is my motivation. He accepts me as I am and vice versa and we are both on a race to be the best version of ourselves.

Oh Yeah!!! I bet your ex hates himself for leaving you now! Well done!!

MFP has worked out that for me to lose 1lb per week I need 1200 calories per day. My lifestyle is most hours on my bum, at a desk. I'm 5'7 - 5'8 and my BMR is about 1600. I was on 1500 for a while and then I plateaud, That was reduced to 1400 as the weight when down. I don't know how but MFP automatically works it out and…

This I believe shows the old 30gr of protein per seving theory to be not only out dated but also incorrect, this figure was a conclusion drawn by an American study done in the 1970's on recovering alcohilics who were suffering from a degree of liver and renal failure. It was found that servings of over 30gr protein at any…
-
The 30g idea is broscience at its finest. You've gotta think why on an evolutionary level why humans would evolve to only be able to process such a low amount of protein, sets you back a bit when you're sitting round the fire in your cave and you can only digest a few mouthfuls of mammoth steak! In other words, it's a load…

Hope MFP has worked well for you!

I was born there. Does that help? :-D

175cals and 35g protein.

I use Sci Mx and I think it's 20g per scoop. Just get the regular whey so you don't necessarily have to drink it. You can make up your own protein bars and stuff. http://www.sci-mx.co.uk/product-categories/protein-shakes/pro-go/ That I leave in the car during winter months. It's stopped me using drive thrus and snacking…

I'm just bored of not being my old size 10 anymore.

I am so glad I've come across this. I am totally buying the FT40 now! :-)
-
I too am very hourglass and fit the straps on the FT7 fat too big / slips. I wear it tucked under my sports bra for contact. You could also try using velcro, it's more comfy than pinning things together. I'd run a sewing machine over it.

Oh poop! I'm f you cked then! LMAO!!!

Yes, a friend of mine who has been on every diet, Dukan, Atkins etc demands for hypothyroidism medication from her doctors, she's been to 3 who told her she is fine.. If she spend more time moving and less time on Web MD diagnosing herself.. she would have lost loads! LOL!

Me: Yay! I lost another pound last yesterday! Person X: Well done! I lose a stone (14 lbs) in a month! Easy! Me: fml...

You can add me if you like. I don't live in London anymore. I used to, not far from Greenwich, that's in South London.

I'm sorry hunni but you need more food, especially protein, have a lean chicken breast if you're 'scared of fat' or tofu perhaps. I also think you need to seriously consider talking to a professional. If I was your mother, I'd ensure you're seeing a counselor or a therapist. According to the metropolitan life tables, you…

WOW!!! What did you do to lose 60lbs in 6 months? A diet pill? A special programme?
