Does adding flavor make water no longer wet? http://www.snopes.com/medical/myths/8glasses.asp

Potatoes have more potassium than bananas. And yes, you are probably getting more than you think since it isn't required on food labels.

What exactly is a "bad" food? Are you still coming in under your calorie goal? https://tonic.vice.com/en_us/article/zmvwb4/eating-clean-wont-make-you-any-healthier

Eh, I just usually skip breakfast to save calories for the rest of the day. Seems to help me stay on a deficit.

You'll definitely improve your fitness and health with just exercise. However you say you are eating around 1200 with the exception of an occasional over indulgence in sweets, right? It's definitely possible you could lose weight averaging around 1500 to 1600 calories per day. Why are you setting such a high weekly goal…

This is a very important point.

Are abs REALLY that important that you'd go that thin just to get them?
-
How long have you been at it?

Check out this post for information non programs: http://community.myfitnesspal.com/en/discussion/10332083/which-lifting-program-is-the-best-for-you/p1

Are you counting calories and eating at a calorie deficit? But yes, I'd agree with @sardelsa, find a good lifting program for sure. You are at a healthy weight already. Lifting heavy and eat on at maintenance might do wonders for you at your age.
-
How are you eating? I'm not clear what results you are looking for. To lose weight?
-
How are your core muscles? When standing you contract them just a bit? It's not really "sucking in" but part of good posture.

Digital ones are cheap <$10. You might as well.
-
Yes you can. But if your goal is to get buzzed or drunk you can get there with less calories.

You are right. People on the internet should not try to diagnose eating disorders. HOWEVER, I do encourage you to schedule a physical if you haven't had one in a while and run your goal weight by your doctor. How many calories are you eating on in your cheat meals? I can't imagine a 10lb gain in one meal. When someone who…

Yeah, unfortunately it's 600 calories over several week. But have yourself a cookie anyway. You deserve it. Donating makes me feel like crap for a couple of days and really limits my ability to exercise. I wish I "earned" calories for it. All I get is the knowledge I've helped saved lives. ::kicks rocks:: ;-)

Yeah, my face looks cuter when I'm a little chubbier.

Also:
-
I'm very pear shaped (35"-29"-41"). Calories in, calories out works for me.
-
You could just try calorie counting, like this app is designed for.
-
5 pounds in 2 months isn't bad at all. Are you counting calories and staying under your goal? Pick a scale and go with that one.
-
Have you only been counting for a week? A gain or a loss in the first week means nothing.
-
I'm guessing that you are restricting calories too low, which is leading to the binging. In general I see nothing wrong with looking at the weekly average, but the "binging" is no good. What is your weekly weight loss goal set to?
-
I think you look great and don't see a reason to go any leaner. Obviously your opinion on optimal physique might be different than mine. But I can't say that I'd recommend switching immediately to a bulk either. My vote is to switch to maintenance for a while and reevaluate in a month or 2. This will also help you get a…

Remember how you physically felt. Learn from that. Try to stop before you get that way next time. But try to let go of the guilt and just move on.

GOMAD? Gallon of Milk a Day. While GOMAD is a little extreme, drinking whole milk is an easy cheap way to get more calories. If you like it and aren't lactose intolerant. *Also you sound like an awesome young man (and I feel old saying that), but it really sounds like you have your stuff together. I hope you do get your…

What you want to do then is MAINTAIN muscle while still trying to lose.
-
You muscles will retain water to help with repair after lifting. This is what makes you get stronger and helps retain muscle as you lose weight ensuring that more of what is lost is fat.

You could rent a truck from Home Depot. They are something like $20/hr.

Yup. Not being able to get your heart rate up is definitely a sign of fatigue. Make sure you are getting enough rest.
