I've been going to spin class about 2-3 times a week for a year. I absolutely love it. I bought a heart rate monitor a few months ago and I can burn anywhere from 500-630 calories in a 50 minute class. I wake up at 4:40 to get my morning workouts in. :) In the wintertime I'll workout once a week in the evening and have the kids go to the daycare center - gives all of us something to do when we're stuck inside.

I do a 50 minute spin class 3 days a week at my gym and then do a Jillian Michael DVD on the opposite days at home.

I'm the same way. I love my Diet Coke. I tried to give it up last week and it wasn't happening. I don't drink coffee so it's my only source of caffeine. I figure I have 2 kids, work full time and work out 4 times a week - I need some caffeine in my life. :)

I'm 5'3 and now weight 134. My highest weight was 162 after my second daughter. I went on WW and got down to 127 but wasn't working out. I am now working out and put on about 7 pounds but feel great. I hope to get down to 130 again soon!

I'm addicted to spin class as well and definitely need to incorporate more strength training. I found a bunch of routines on Pinterest that I do at home with free weights. I have yet to touch any machine at the gym...too intimidated. :) Isn't spin amazing?? Love, love, love it!

I love the whole David Guetta album Nothing but the beat - favorite songs on there are "I can only imagine" and "Sweat". I also love "Dog days are over" by Florence and the Machine. Those songs definitely make me go the extra mile. :)

Thanks for the info. I've been hearing that diet soda's are very bad for weight loss so wanted to give it up all together. I know caffeine itself is ok - but diet soda's, not so much. I don't drink coffee so this was my only caffeine drink for the day.

I have about 3 pounds to hit goal - I do spin classes about 3 times a week and run after my 2 kids. Hopefully counting calories will get me there! :)
