Hi and welcome to MFP. You should def notice a difference on this site, it really helps to log everything you eat. It has such an impact when you see it in black and white. Good luck!

I am going to buy myself a pair of thinning scissors and some Boots coconut and almond conditioning mask for my hair. The joys! lol.

When you feel the desire to eat you need to occupy yourself with something and try to make yourself forget about it. Go and exercise or call a friend and chat for a while. Maybe go for a nice walk. Or go upstairs and start pulling one of the bedrooms apart and clean or move the furniture. Take a nice bath and pamper…

I think in this day and age nobody has any time anymore. Because they have gotten used to the 'convienence era' that we are living in they have become impatient and lazy and want everything now. It might not be so convienient when they have spent a complete fortune and realise they are now fatter and more unfit than they…

I've never had anyone blatantly tell me to my face that i'm ugly but they could well have been thinking it. I do however get alot of if you werent so fat you'd be really attractive, which i guess is a backwards way of calling somebody ugly.... so actually my answer is yes! lol.

I eat at least 1 potato every day, usually for my dinner. I will never give them up. They keep me full for the rest of the evening so i don't end up snacking. As long as you plan them into your day there shouldn't be a problem.

I'm a 9. I don't get offended very easily. Each to their own and all that.

Well done, it must feel amazing, can't wait to get there myself

I've had to delete a few. Usually i just say straight up 'Im here to lose weight not pick somebody up. If thats ok with you then we can be friends'. if they persist after that i just delete. Like you say, your gut reaction is usually right.

I was at 1200 for a long time too, but have bumped it up now to 1400 to see what happens. I know i prob won't lose the weight as quick but like you i was starting to get sore heads and was cold and tired all the time, which is obviously our bodies way of saying 'feed me!' You should try it for a week or two and see what…

It actually puts me off if there are really nice looking and ripped guys there. Makes me a bit paranoid. Although i do tend to look like quasimodo after a workout (ie, hunched over, practically falling to the ground out of breath, red faced! lol)

I tend to eat five or six times a day, usually every 2 and a half to 3 hours. Usually about 300 cals per meal.

I started here in Jan 11 and never counted my alcohol calories. I would have drank alot at the weekend. I haven't had a drink since September and it has really helped me. Whenever i drank i would feel ill for days after and ate alot of crap basically and exercise went out the window so it really disruped my weight loss. I…
