I looked up all of the items that you listed individually with the exception of the "pink pork stuff" and it came to; 1173 calories, 69 grams fat, 50 grams carbohydrates, and 76 grams of protien....not including the condiments. I don't mean to harp but sometimes we need to see it to believe it. This happened to me at a…

You need to really look at this statement....I don't want to be rude (only supportive) but your missing the point. If your boss is paying why would you order a bunch of fried food? You have worked so hard and obviously wanted our opinion so I say no matter who picks up the tab, you can still make a healthy (and yummy)…

I'm 5'10" @ 167 right now and I have my goals set to lose a pound a week. It puts me at 1440 calories a day. This doesn't include my exercise calories. Maybe you are setting your goals too high. You have to remember that it is a little more difficult when you don't have much to lose and being tall doesn't make it any…

EVERY SINGLE ITEM ON THAT PLATE IS FRIED!!!!! DONT DO IT!!!!!!!! Steamed chicken/shrimp/tofu with veggies and sauce on the side.

Why don't you get some steamed shrimp (or tofu) and veggies with brown/white rice from the chinese place? They usually have these options and you can get the sauce on the side so that you can control the amount you use. I wouldnt do the convenience store...for me that would be too tempting, and subway is really no better…

Maybe if you made your food diary "public" (you can do this through the settings tab) it would be easier for us to see what you are currently eating and make some suggestions.

My "NEW" favorite snack ever...... 2 Wheat Thins Tuscan Herb Flatbreads 1 Wedge Laughing Cow Light (any flavor) 1 oz. low sodium ham 10 red grapes It's a baby cheese, fruit, and cracker plate for 160 calories!!!!!

The cleaner you eat the less sodium you will be taking in. Processed foods have high amounts of sodium (even egg beaters). Try plain egg whites for breakfast, oil and vinegar on your salad (It's the "good fat" but use sparingly), and crunch on air popped pop-corn or raw veggies and homeade hummus for snacks. At first you…

Try some older Chevelle (for the heavy stuff) and for some reason I love Akon and Rihanna when I am doing cardio. It makes me smile and reminds me of the beach, which in turn reminds me of the fact that I am soon going to have to squeeze into something that will no doubt be tiny!

I think we all probably blew it a little bit this weekend. Why don't you just give your body a day of proper eating before you weigh yourself. That way you can get rid of all that pesky sodium and bloat.

They are also known as sweet corn cakes. Try looking that up. Its basically sweetened masa (corn meal), they are sooo good, but unfortunately I also think that they are sooo bad. Lol.

I have the opposite problem, but I don't have many jeans with stretch in them. Stupid clothing companies are trying to trick us!

We have 2 refrigerators....I don't even need to say anything more. The only true struggle that we have is about Salmon. Yes, Salmon. I eat it probably 3 or more times a week. I love it! Not only will he not eat it but he will follow me around and make this huge production about how it stinks up the house. It…

Cardio, cardio, cardio! No easy fix for that one!

Cooking Light Dinner Tonight is fantastic. It shows the nutritional analysis and picture for each recipe.

I would add some more protien (in my opinion), also you have a high amount of sodium kicking on a daily basis. Maybe you could pop your own popcorn or try a low sodium boars head variety. I have the same problem with my sodium intake but when I am really careful with it i almost always wake thinner.

Im not sure that shrimp tempura is considered sushi, lol, but I do know that it IS fried. If you have the calories for it...have it. There is no way to curb a craving like that with a substitute. Just don't go crazy and eat a bucket full.
-
You have to make your food diary open to the public for us to see it. Right now we can't.

Welcome. Great job on your weight loss so far!

I was more impressed that you had time to fit in an alcoholic beverage already today...

Im sorry...against what everyone else is saying- I LOVE TACO BELL. I don't know if I would have had that kind of willpower. Great job in making a smart chioce. It is the little small triumphs that make the big picture attainable.

This is the one I use. I hope it helps http://caloriecount.about.com/cc/recipe_analysis.php?process=resubmit&count=55#

I never realized how much sodium I was consuming until MFP. It has been my saving grace. I had a huge issue with blood pressure that I have now managed to get under control. I still struggle with it, that is why I mentioned it. Like you, I jump for joy about a 200 calorie breakfast but then I look at the…

Just watch the sodium.....

Is the 1800 calories what MFP originally told you to eat? If so (that does seem a bit high), then anything extra is exercise calories which you can elect to eat...or not. Check your goals and make sure that you have selected "lose a pound a week" and not GAIN a pound per week (it is an option). I don't log in my exercise…

Generally, it is 8-10 ibs, but as was mentioned before me, it really depends on the person, the body type, and muscle mass. Good luck! Somehow I squeezed into my 8's today for a luncheon. Hopefully I don't bust out of them later. LOL.
-
I too go a bit craxy on the weekends, but I do log it all in. What helps me is that during the week I do not log in my exercise calories, I just stay within the 1440 that MFP allows me. Oddly, since I have started doing this, I have actually been eating/drinking less on the weekends. The message here is accountability and…
