I ran today in one. Its HOT as hell here in the south and quite frankly I'm tired of burning up in this heat. I sweat a lot and even wearing a sweat wicking shirt or tank top doesn't help. Personally I dont care what other folks think any more abot this subject. I'm not going to suffer to make someone else feel comfortable.

I think the surgery is called pubovaginal sling. They use mesh to strengthen the pelvic floor. I work at a hospital that do this type of surgery frequently. Please check with your doc and see what your options are.

5'8 here and small frame. My ideal weight is 135. I start to look stick thin if I go below that weight.

I have one and I love mine. It comes with the chest strap. Easy to use. Tons of people use Polar, so shake off that buyer's remorse!!

Jillian Micheals 30 day Shred, Shred it with Weights (just did that one for the first time today and loved it), Turbo Fire, Jackie Warner One on One and a lot of the Firm dvds.

I was on OrthTricyclen. I did gain a few lbs but it wasnt like a ton of lbs. I wish I could get back on it, it kept my skin clear, and I wasn't as moody around that time of the month.

I just finished the 12 week Turbo Fire program, loved it!! I'm seriously thinking about repeating it but doing the Chalean Extreme/Turbo Fire Hybrid.

Im surprised I don't see the southern states like Louisiana and Mississippi. Obesity is rampant here and it seems every other person had Type II Diabetes.

I like this answer. I can't stand the grittiness of whole wheat pasta.

I think a lot of women have the misconception that when they start to lift weights, they will end up looking like those lady body builders on the cover of muscle and strength magazine that look like they can bench a cadillac. I don't think they are aware that it leans out the body and that those women train in insane…

I agree with your pediatrician, You can't expect baby to gain weight on breast milk alone. Since your child is approaching a year old (and is whole lot more active at this age than in the earlier months) its time for something solid. I breastfed for 8 months and to tell you the truth it just wasn't enough to just…

Taking a break from what??

I burn about 250-300 calories.

I experienced this. I was on the leg press machine and this dude decided he was going to position himself so that he could get a good view of my butt. The gym was almost empty, he could have picked any area but NOOOOO he HAD to sit there. Had the nerve to stare with no shame. As soon as he sat down and I saw what was going…

I remember when I first started going to the gym there was this beautiful woman who ran at a pretty fast pace on the treadmill for what seemed hours. Not only that she was a graceful runner, I remember thinking she looked like a gazelle  I could only stare in awe. No signs of fatigue, no sweating, just effortless,…

You are rocking that bikini!! You look fabulous!!

Whats your height? Do you exercise? 1000 calories a day is not enough if you are active. 800-900 calories a day is not enough fuel for your body to do basic functions period.

I love Jillian Michaels 30 day shred. I Iike to be manhandled and slapped around during a workout  and Jillian Michaels delivers. If you can do her workouts, you should be able to tackle anything.
-
I started out with the basic program first, in case I wasn't crazy about it. I love it but to me the basic is really enough. 3 months of workouts is more than enough for me, and I'm sure once I'm done I'll want to change it up a bit anyway. I may get the advanced dvds for my self as a xmas gift.

Yep, when I have to do vigorous house cleaning, I claim those calories too. Lawn mowing, washing the car, you best believe I"m claiming those calories  I have no shame when it comes to logging exercise. If it seems like I'm going to be working hard, no matter what I'm doing, I wear my HRM.
