Edit, per F2F my TDEE is less than 2,000 calories per day. I was basing the above on what my BMF says I burn.

Wonderful journey and great inspiration a out sticking with it in maintenance

I am 5'2" and weigh 150 and fit nicely in 12 (10 could work but too tight for comfort). When I started I was 182 and size 16 so dropped two pant sizes with 32-pounds. At my lowest weight years ago I was 105-lbs and a size 2, so 45 pounds lighter and 5 sizes smaller. It seems to relate to aging too, and a big tummy as well…

I could so easily eat 3,00 a day, but alas my TDEE is @ 2000

http://www.mayoclinic.com/health/heart-rate/AN01906 60-100 is normal. Wonder why so many of us are lower?
-
So any ideas what it is supposed to be? I thought it was more typical to be in the 60's or low 70's, not in the 50's.

I juice veggies 4-6 times a week. Would do more but it is a lot of prep and cleaning and isn't at all filling. I do find it gives a great energy burst and helps get more veggies into my diet. Highly recommend spinach carrot and apple as core as well as fennel and cucumber and parsley for flavor. The high quality blender…

Keep a bag of almonds handy. I salted and raw work best for me

I am 51 and have good energy. I think the period of my life that I was most energetic was between 31-38. I don't recover from injuries quickly anymore but the energy levels for me relate to how I eat and how much extra weight I carry around as well as how fit I am. Maybe it just relates to your current workload?

I juice in addition to, but not a replacement for regular meals. Sometimes I simply wan't a green drink and really feel good with the kick it gives me. They tend to be calorie heavy for what they offer in terms of being filling though. Try carrot, cucumber, spinach and apple for a tasty juice and fennel really makes a…

I have both but am nearing retiring the Fitbit. BMF seems much more accurate but come summer and t-shirts it may be a drag. Like BMF better for my measuring, just seems more accurate.
-
I gave it two weeks to adapt to me and now I trust it. It seems to be spot on for moderately active which is what I normally am (my fitbit wanted to call me lightly active, if that). I started eating more a couple of weeks ago and since then have lost 3-pounds when before I had been plateaued for close to 3-months.

Or make your own. Best ever :) I like Brownberry whole wheat (Catherine Clarkes original recipe) or make my own when I have time.

This And one of my favorites is juicing an orange and a lime and mixing it with a gallon of water and drinking it throughout the day. Very refreshing and great way to drink more water.

Quest apple pie. I keep them for when I get peckish on the road

Check out omega vert 350. Very easy to clean masticating juicer. Use it almost every day and have been for close to a year

You can spend about $2,500 for a basic Precor that will last a lifetime. I agree with the previous poster about resistance and incline but I think you have to purchase something you will use.
-
Any Precor! I have the one where the arms detach and love it. Bought the floor model so got a discount, but it was really expensive. We've used it for three years now almost daily and it is great!!!! I recommend Precor for the feel of the stride but also durability and stability of the machines.

I have a treadmill desk and will usually log about 15,000 steps a day. The BMF doesn't pick up all the steps but does indicate a higher TDEE than the Fitbit. Basically the BMF tracks me as moderately active while the Fitbit as lightly active and sice I am losing weight based on the higher number I think the BMF is more…

I have both a Fitbit and BMF and the Fitbit underestimates and I think the BMF is really right now that I have started using it as a base for how much I eat. I have upped my calories and have finally broken a long plateau by doing so.

Thanks Lauren, I had seen those and thought they were a good idea but look awkward. Which do you find more ergonomic, the single weights or adjustable? Right now I just have a ten pound set of fixed dumbells. I can see them getting too light in a month or so, except the exercises I do for my bad rotator (10 is pushing it…

I don't eat fowl but this sounds great. I wonder what it would taste like with fish?

Learn to love it without sweeteners? I love it with some Kashi cereal thrown in and a bit of powdered cinnamon
