  • she is good at that. She keeps me on the straight and narrow. :)
  • Nonsense! I am a 36G, and I run about 5 miles a day in about 30 minutes. A great sports bra is THE key. I wear Elomi sports bra. I also wear their other styles too. They are a perfect fit. I also bought some Kangoo Jumps, and they are incredible for running... takes about 60% of the impact off your joints. I injured my…
  • Hali, I could not have made it this far (37lb down and 84.5 inches gone) without my MFP friends. They are THE best. We have all helped each other through the ups and downs...the plateaus and the pains. I wish you all the very best on your journey to a healthier happier you. Kat
  • If you can't find a supermarket you like in England, then you have not found Sainsbury's, Tesco, or Marks and Spencer. As Walmart seems to be the centre of the universe in the US, it was near impossible to find quality fruit and vegetables. In one town we we lived in, in the US, safe drinking water was not even available.…
  • Lived in the US for 13 years, and have seen MORE rain in 13 years, than 30+ in the UK. When you consider, the US is almost 38 times BIGGER than the UK, it is like comparing apples with oranges, with regards to weather. You go from one extreme to the other. Depends what you like. Louisiana for example, has 2.5 seasons..…
  • I have lost 12" off my boobs so far, and very happy.

  • I was using my Wii balance board, but found it to be under-weighing by a LOT. Eat Smart Digital Bathroom Scale ($29.95) Guaranteed to be 100% accurate. Doesn't matter where in the bathroom it is, or how many times you step on and off it, it reads the same.
  • When baking or cooking something in the oven. .... fill a muffin pan with an egg in the shell in each slot, then baked them in the oven with the other items. 20- 25 minutes is usually enough at around 325 degrees. I do that, then run the whole tray under cool water, and then peel them all, and place in a container in the…
  • I would tell the landlord I am NOT happy with her being there, and did not agree to it. Therefore, I would want my name removing from the lease, and replacing with her name. I would tell my boyfriend, that I am not prepared to live, and study in that environment...and I am looking for another place to live. It is hard…
  • Some people think that women are getting upset because "their body shape is not represented", which is incorrect.. women get upset, because companies such as VS cater to one specific group. I will not walk in any of their stores ever again, and neither will most of my friends. I wanted to buy a bra (36C at the time), and…
  • Watch out for products that say "gentle" "pure", but lathers. IF it lathers... it has a detergent in it, and that will dry the skin. Preservative, perfumes will also dry the skin. Emollients and oils, such as lanolin should be medical grade. There is a minute amount of the population actually allergic to lanolin. What they…
  • Oh how I miss Marks and Spencer.
  • Champion, UnderArmor, and Ideology are my favorites. For sports bra... Panache and Enell do great sports bras, depends on your size.
  • How odd. Not sure why some people can see it, and some can't. Any ideas why?
  • I am only 5'2" and I started at 238.6 at the end of March this year, and have lost 37lb and 83" so far.
  • I am 48. I have been with MFP since the end of March. Lost 37lb and 83" so far. I wish you all the very best on your journey to a healthier happier you.
  • I use Designer Whey Protein Powder Natural. Unflavored.. No problems with it. You can't add vanilla or chocolate to savory things. I got sick to death of the vanilla flavor.
  • I am 5' 2". Lost 37lb and 78.1" since March 31st.
  • Hi, and welcome to MFP. I have been with MFP since 31st of March, and lost 37lb and 78.5". I have tried other methods, but this is the only thing that has changed my lifestyle completely. I injured my knee (cartilage damage) almost a year ago, and was unable to walk until about late January this year. Now, I run 4-8 miles…
  • My goal is to get back down to a size 6 or even a 4, as I am only 5'2" tall. I know I won't reach my goal weight, because I have been losing inches (78.5 so far), but only 37lb. I would rather weigh more and it be muscle, than weigh less, and not be toned.
  • Well done, on the size 14. I too was size 22, and I am only 5'2"...as the inches have come off, it feels so good to fit a smaller size. When I got in size 14s I was thrilled. I kept on going to the plus size area of the stores, but it feels so good to be able to try any size 12 jeans on, and they find they fit.…
  • It is like everything else... some people were just born experts. I agree with many before me... either give advice or keep your nose out of it. Evidently, they are people who have no power or control in their lives, so feel they have to control others. Basically, the bullies of the world. Yes, you are entitled to your…
  • I had two loser yell "your fat" when they passed me... I yelled back "your UGLY, I can lose weight"
  • Nice one!
  • I have a jar of chia seeds and a jar with a blend of protein powder, oats, and chia seeds blended into a powder, which I use for smoothies for my other half. He doesn't know he is getting healthy :D
  • Welcome to MFP, Amber. I am a gamer, been playing WoW since the beginning. I have been with MFP since 31st March, and have lost 36lb. You can do this, but don't change for others. Do this for yourself, because you are worth it. Best wishes on your journey to a healthier happier you.
  • I am 5'2" 202 and wear size 12 jeans. In March, I was size 22
  • I found a great knee brace...by Futuro for Women. They actually thought about women actually having more padding on their thighs. It is great for walking, and gives good support, but, as you say "that gets hot". My Kangoo Jumps were worth the money. Check google for Kangoo Jump classes. Some gyms have KJ aerobic classes,…
  • I would suggest, tying a ribbon to the top of your Fitbit, and looping it or pinning it to a piece of clothing. Occasionally they fall off, that is how I lost mine. I think you will LOVE the Fitbit. Good look, and happy stepping.
