Lol Does he even lift?

When I'm cutting I'm trying to maintain as much strength as possible, this is the best way to preserve lean mass IMO. I find that easiest in the 5 x 3 to 5 x 5 rep range.
-
If you're spotting someone on the bench you HAVE to say "It's all you bro! It's all you" on each rep. It's the law.
-
how much fiber to you eat per day on average?
-
pick up the heaviest dumbell you can, hold it for as long as possible, repeat. You can also grip some plates like this Grip training is pretty simple.

this is where we fundamentally disagree. I am not genetically unique and outside of medical conditions, neither are you. I have been in the gym I would estimate 4-5 hours per week every week for last 3-4 years, that's over 1000 hours of intense exercise. Are you really trying to tell me the reason i'm in ok shape and…

enjoy your chicken breast and tuna op

really? You must find day to day life extremely irritating if you get that annoyed over someones opinion.

Interesting read, I don't think anyone is denying there are multiple factors involved in the increased weight of the nation but to many people are going to look at that a go 'great I knew it wasn't my fault' and shift the blame, Stress, poor sleep, exposure to fast food advertising, living in a household with poor eating…
-
I don't think the OP has stated or is intending to recommend people get their MAIN source of nutrients from fast food..just that he hasn't eliminated them from his diet. OP is getting leaner and healthier while enjoying food and eating a varied diet, this is winning.

a - no lunges are not essential the squats and single leg dl's will cover the lower body side of things just fine b - I would just bench first / or last so you have less hassle - there is no need to warm up between every single exercise once you have done an exercise involving those joints/muscles you are good to go. c -…

longer than a week, de-load or rest weeks are common in strength training programs.
-
Exactly. If your training heavy rows or deadlifts.............you are training heavy rows and deadlifts not your grip. Why risk letting your grip limit the benefits from those movements when you can easily train grip separately at the end of the workout or on a separate day?
-
go through your diary and identify the foods which are containing the most sodium..........eat less of those.

It's probably better than this cauliflower base nonsense.

Tortured a kid and had previous convictions and he only got 1 year in prison??? Shouldn't have been on the streets in the first place, hopefully gets a proper sentence this time.

it's just 2 people who are talking about 2 different styles of squatting. Rip squatting 315 for 10 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FVKEl4Wxoqc this kid squatting 350 for 10 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Yx5xZJwpkCs just 2 different styles. Rip is obviously super popular and everyone takes his word as gospel and the only…

If you go into a calorie surplus then yes you will gain weight. If you don't want to gain more than a few pounds then just reduce them back to maintenance level one you have done so.
-
You will not go into starvation mode (if such a thing even exists) in 5 days. The brutal truth is now you weigh less you will have a lower overall calorie expenditure simply as a by product of having less body mass so you have 2 options - increase calorie output by moving/exercising more - eat less That's pretty much it.…

Unless you are intolerant there is no reason you cannot eat wheat as part of a healthy lifestyle and continue to lose weight. Just because something may be 'processed' that doesnt automatically mean its 'bad' 'unclean' or 'unhealthy' If you have lost 15lbs eating wheat then that in itself should tell you that wheat or…
-
You don't have have to completely give up processed foods to be lean/fit/healthy/whatever Maked good food choces, hit your macros and exercise, everything will fall into place processed foods are not the enemy preventing your weight loss. Start with little changes, you are finding it hard because you are tying to…

If your food logging is accurate, then your maintenance is somewhere between 2000-2500 per day. If you take the average, 2250, then a 20% deficit would be 1800 per day, which all stacks up.

I wouldn't continue doing anything that gave me knee pain. First thing I would try would be switching them to reverse lunges which put a little less stress on the knee and see how you get on.
-
no get a standard olympic bar, will last a lifetime and you can use it for everything.
-
But then you can't make threads complaining about the postman trying to sabotage you or your dog judging your food choices or someone in your office eating a cake on the other side of the room while staring at you and how mean everyone is.
-
uuuuuuurgh. Please tell me what horrors would rain down on me if I had a glass of concentrated juice a few times a month? this is why people don't take you seriously.
-
Can you front squat? Leg press is a decent mass builder but as far as strength carryover to the squat goes, I don't know to be honest.
-
And maybe I'm missing something but the 'losing 10lbs' part was actually your idea according to your post. Maybe he just really doesn't want a dog......but of course this is MFP ad everyone is told their husband is an abuser and they should break up their whole family over every single comment or disagreement,
-
Lol sounds like half of the posts on this forum, does he have an MFP account?
