If you are looking to lose a decent amount of weight and make changes to your body, you are going to be hungry every now and then. Sometimes very hungry - it's something you have got to deal with.
-
yes definitely - just start light, start with the bar only until you feel comfortable. The only exercise you should need a spotter/help for is the bench press, assuming you have a squat rack with safety bars. Just ask someone for a spot if you need to, people will be happy to oblige. re form, if you can video some of your…

never heard of the caffeine and creatine thing before.......the majority of pre-workout supplements have both of those ingredients in them....the same with beta-alanine and taurine. ZMA and calcium I was aware of, ZMA supps usually advise to not take with dairy based products on the packaging.

it's not unreasonable, he's well over 6ft tall and clearly holds a lot of muscle mass. I train with a few people who maintain on 4000 calories and are nowhere near as big.

all I ever used to do for ohp was ohp , so I would do something like 3 x 5 ohp then, 4 x 10 ohp in the same session for assistance my numbers never went anywhere until I started training the individual muscles in the movement regularly lots of tricep extensions (pulldowns AND overhead so you hit all heads of the tricep),…

^ this once the weight gets heavy you are going to get really pulled forward/over which is putting more stress on your back. you are also limiting how much you can lift as the bar is away from your centre of gravity. some people have the knees a little forward, some peoples shin stays totally upright it depends on the…

I agree, lots of people get overweight very young before they are old enough to understand what's happened...I get there are other factors. But once you are an adult, with all the mental and physical tools to do something about your own body and lifestyle habits claiming bad genetics doesn't fly with me I'm afraid.…

Source for this please? When I was really bored the other day, I calculated roughly how many hours exercise I had done over the last 5 years.... I don't remember how many it was but it was a lot, hundreds probably thousands of hours of intense exercise. You want to tell me the reason I'm in shape and all the overweight…

This is what I posted [twice] earlier which she refuses to respond to I have only skim read this study so forgive me......... however, no mention appears to be made of the participants actually tracking daily calorie intake? They filled out a questionnaire every 2 years to report on lifestyle changes..the study seems to…

How is this link relevant to the conversation? Self reported calorie intake data is notoriously inaccurate and this has been known for some time....I don't really see how that is relevant?

I have only skim read this study so forgive me......... however, no mention appears to be made of the participants actually tracking daily calorie intake? They filled out a questionnaire every 2 years to report on lifestyle changes..the study seems to report that weight gain is associated with the consumption of certain…

Indeed, especially if you squat pretty wide keeping your feet pointed straight forward is not going to be good for your hips. You will see almost all wider stance squatters have their feet turned out. Also worth saying this may be something that just goes in time once you build up general strength. My *kitten* used to…

As far as I know it's the hamstring and glutes that play the biggest part in stabilising the knee/how your knee tracks over your foot I would add in some single leg exercises like fear foot elevated split squats and lunges and see how you get on. If you are much stronger/stable on your left leg then that's probably the…

When you break it down, cost per serving, it's probably the cheapest protein source out there especially if you buy in bulk.
