I tend to weigh myself at the height of my menstrual weight gain and have a moment of panic, until I realize why I've gained so much (I can gain an extra 10 pounds during TOM). Once my 5 second heart attack is over, I don't normally weigh myself again until about a week after I'm finished.

We don't have directions for zipper merging here, but we should. What a pain in the *kitten* it is to get onto the freeway. And I'm not going to let 5 cars in when it's wall to wall traffic on a 3 lane highway, sorry man, 1 person merges, then the other person goes, 1 person merges, then the other person goes...it's common…

I have a few unfortunately. They don't ruin my day, but I'm insta-pissed when; 1) someone doesn't put a new roll of toilet paper on the holder, or just props it up on the old roll 2) you don't hang up your jacket and just throw it over the kitchen chair 3) shoes all over the damn place on the landing, someone is going to…

I'm all about IIFYM too...it makes more sense to me.

I have roasted chick peas, trek trail mix, energy blend trail mix, chocolate flavoured tea, icebreakers sour candy, and because I have a hard time reaching my sodium levels, I have soup base packets in my desk drawer.

I met my fiance on POF...I dated a couple of losers before I met him...we've been happily common law for 7 years. There's nothing wrong with POF, just because they don't want to pay for Match.com doesn't mean their cheap, it just means they have better things to spend their money on. One of my best friends I met off POF…

I'm going to help jack this thread...I use vegan protein shakes after I go to the gym..simply because I have a dairy intolerance (I still eat meat). I use almond milk and pea protein powder instead of whey powder.

I went to a HIIT boxing/self defense for women class and just took the workouts they did there. I wrote them down, got an interval timer on my phone and now I use my heavy bag at home, but I'm definitely going to look into those two apps to see if I can shake things up a bit. Thanx

I am that extra traffic...but little do you know that I've been lifting heavy for over 3 years! I gave up my gym membership to try new things, and it turns out that I actually hate exercising, but I didn't admit it to myself until January. So yes, today I go back to deadlifting and squatting at the gym, but don't treat me…

I found when I eat more protein and fats, I can eat more food...and that makes me happy. If I fill my diary with carbs, I can't eat as much. I love "if it fits my macros". I will make potatoes, rice, breads, etc fit into my diary. I will eat less of them because the chicken breast, fish, eggs and other meats I'm consuming…

You're doing incredible!

This! Also, add James Fell, Alan Argon and science babe on your facebook...they have tons of great fitness advice that's backed by scientific research (Please don't add food babe, she's a disaster lol)

I love old navy for my workout gear, and walmart.

I'm where you are right now. I know what I'm supposed to be doing, I've been on MFP for 3 years now. And haven't lost a damn thing. I did lose almost 30lbs, but I gained it all back. I don't really know what I'm doing, I don't know how to stay motivated and "love" working out. I'm just trying my best for the 10th time and…

Have you tried that veggie peeler thing yet? it makes zuccini into noodles? I got one at christmas, I'm going to try it tonight with shrimp and steamed cauliflower. I really hope it works. I also use broccoli slaw (steamed) as a noodle subsitute.

I love using lemon pepper on my salmon. But if you're stuck, go on Pinterest, there's tons of ideas on there.

I do lower carb. I max out at 150g a day. The reason why I'm doing it is because of pre-menopause and hormone imbalance. I have been doing it for awile, but like a previous poster stated, I fell off the wagon. I really do like how I feel when I exercise consistently and cut out the crazy carbs. I still eat white pasta and…

except it's going to cost more to ship the goods in to the stores, people are losing jobs so they have to "go home" and live on EI, which is supported by the government, which is supported by oil and gas. This is the most ignorant post i've seen today. Think this through, you will be paying MORE for food than you do now,…

I'm in Alberta too, we're paying around 80cents/litre...and I'm in the oil patch. I hope, despite the fact that I don't pay an arm and a leg for gas, that the price of oil goes up soon. It's not just the patch that's being affected right now, it's everyone. I'm constantly checking to see if we still have work to do, and…

I hate working out, and like you I live in Canada where it gets balls cold. I also have SAD, and it's quite the b!tch this year. But I'm being proactive. Bought myself a happy light that sits on my desk at work, upped my vitamin D and magnesium intake, found HIIT kickboxing/self defense classes that only last 30 minutes…

I do "lower" carbs. Meaning I max out at 150g. I've gone through all the testing, 13 viles of blood drawn, physical exam, etc. My doctor couldn't figure out why I wasn't losing weight. I feel way better going from 500g of carbs to 150g. The trick is to find subsitutes. I steam way more veggies, maybe skip the rice at…

The darkness is already killing me and it just started! It's dark here around 4:30 and it makes me want to cry. I can still walk at night, because I have a big dog and I keep to the lit streets, but seriously! I'll have to start tanning just to get vitamin D soon...oh the joys of living in Canada.

I do "lower" carbs...I try to keep my carbs between 100 and 150g (momma likes her toast ;) My exercise consists mostly of heavy lifting, hiking and elliptical. I absolutely hate cardio, hence the reason I buy into the high fat/protein concept. And I'm a firm believer in "if it fits your macros". Feel free to add me, I love…

If it fits my macros, I eat it. I usually save my bagel and fried eggs for my after workout snack. Other than that, I just got used to it.

For some women, when they start losing weight or changing their diets, their periods drastically change. I, for one, am going through pre-menopause at the age of 33, so yeah it's like having to learn my period all over again. Watch your karma.

I use Krisda in my tea and I really like it, I only use 1 packet.

Count yourself lucky...I'm a hot mess right now. Hormones are raging, every singlel symptom of PMS is amplified, I've gained 12 pounds in bloat. My PMS is killing me right now! I could eat the fridge door if it had ketchup on it.
