Get a netti pot! those things are amazing, and it's not drugs

I'm a full time step mom of an only child, and we aren't planning more. I'm also the baby of the family by a lot of years. I can say my son and I are both very selfish people. We don't know how to share, and we don't know how to handle situations that don't go our way. Also, if my son and are are lonely, we will be up your…

Me too! If my son every talks crap like this, he'll be in a world of hurt, especially because he knows how it feels.

Thank goodness you people don't have my resume. I job hop every 7 months it seems. One minute I'm in the oil patch, next I'm in the government, tried my hand at environmental awareness, worked in daycare...now I'm a Safety Manager and making more money then I ever thought I would. There are tons of other factors that go…

I had to make a sign to put up in the two bathroom stalls at work, TO FLUSH THE TOILET!

My mother did it, and had a doctor monitor her very closely. She seems to be successful. I can't afford it so I won't be trying it, and I can't eat dairy so I wouldn't be able to have most of the food.

yeah I'm a wine drinker...but if I'm counting calories instead of going all out, I have smirnoff ice light ETA: or "alive" rum coolers :)

Every Friday my fiance texts me on the way home from poker to see if I want McDonalds...of course I do. I also stash candy in my book basket beside my bed. Lately I've been waking up at about 2 or 3 am and go have a granola bar, rice crispie square and a juice box. I have no problem eating an entire pizza with no cheese on…

I eat fried eggs after I work out, plus 2 microwaved eggs almost daily for breakfast. My blood work is fine.

I'm not a big fruit eater either, that's not going to tank you :) just up your veggie count! I have discovered pink grapefruit with stevia sprinkled on it though, and that seems to help with the whole fibre issue lol.

in for the dog gifs!

I get told "if you're trying to lose weight, why are you lifting?" um...because I want to be bad *kitten*.

Oh yes, I'm terrible. I go to a drop in yoga class at my leisure centre. Doesn't stop me though, my teacher shows us modified poses, and I just can't hold the pose, I take it down a notch. Following a teacher is way better than doing a DVD, they can at least help you with form and help you improve your poses.

Pinterest! ETA: go into the Health and Fitness section, not the food and drink section.

I go to drop in classes at the city run leisure center...it's really not expensive. I've tried videos and they all seem lame. There might be some on youtube though. Research the different types of yoga and start at the beginner level. Don't fear the poses! There's always modified poses you can do.

I love it...I cook it in my rice cooker. One day I'll have it with eggs and syrup, the next I'll put some garlic and soy sauce in it. It's very versatile.

1 cup of almond milk, 2 tbsp of chia seeds, 1 tbsp cocoa powder, 1 package of stevia. Create and sit in your fridge over night, eat the next day

best thread ever lmao

My son has Oppositional Defiant Disorder paired with high anxiety (and we're pretty sure that he's going to be diagnosed with bi-polar due to his manerism and behavior), we have chosen to deal with him behaviorally instead of medically, and it seems to be working. I don't know what's normal or not either lol I wish I did.…

I wish my husband used this...sorry man :( he's very motivational though lol

My child is super sensitive too...he's growing out of it though. At first it was crying and pure frustration, then it was lashing out. His dad takes no mercy on him. If he's going to throw a fit because he lost a video game, then they just won't play anymore. We've taught him some behavior techniques like "what to do if…

I mix chia seeds with my almond milk and cocoa powder, and yes it does have a texture you have to get used to. It is kind of slimey lol It's a little more grainy than tapioca, the seeds are a little harder. But it's worth it because they're filling, healthy and easy to make for breakfast :)

Have a day inbetween lifting days. Sounds like DOMS, there's lots of things you can do if you're stiff and sore. Cardio is a great idea inbetween lift days, but don't push it. Walk, don't do full out marathons, yoga is amazing after lift days, light bike riding, etc. I only lift 2 days a week, that leaves me plenty of time…

Unless I'm doing other exercises, I don't log yoga anymore. I wore my HRM and in 45 minutes I only burned 100 calories. That's not worth logging unless I can log my cardio and weight lifting in the same day. If yoga is the only thing I'm doing that day, I am doing it for the shear pleasure and chakra cleansing.

Thrift stores are my answer. I go to Value Village in the "rich" area of town, where the clothes seem to be newer. You can afford $6 for a pair of fairly new jeans. Hang in there, I wear out my jeans in the crotch area all the time. When I buy new, I buy at Ricki's because they seem to last a long time.

if it hurts, like full out pain...you're doing something wrong. Either you're lifting to much, bad form or to many reps. I do 3 sets of 10, unless I'm deadlifting, and I go until I power out, which is about 5 lifts. I do New Rules of Lifting, and had absolutely no shame in the fact that I was only deadlifting the barbell…

it's the 4th of July, most people are out partying...unlike me (but I'm Canadian lol)

Like another poster said, it's like watching a train wreck. My bullies made some TERRIBLE choices in life, and I don't mind watching the gong show. Makes me put things in perspective and love the choices I've made, including getting out of the horrid town I grew up in.

Skinny B!tches! Vodka, water, splash of lime juice. or those rum coolers that are 4 calories? Apparently there's vodka coolers that are super low too but I can't remember the name. Nothing Google can't find ;)

I don't get envious, more like "how did my life become so different than yours?" There's babies everywhere, pictures of family because you hang out EVERY WEEKEND, hypocritical posts about your kids being bullied, when in fact you were my bully growing up, things like that. I have no interest in people's lives on Facebook.…
