Glad it's not just me... what i don't get is my planks are awesome, I can crunch and reverse crunch, lateral flexions are no problem, but I'm still unstable lol when are my abs going to kick in and help a sista out?

When I increase my weights is when I'm going to have to get in the squat rack. I can only lift so much with dumbbells, and that's where my balance goes off. I do BSS and lunges in one routine, and squats and lunges in another routine. I don't squat and BSS in the same day. I find that my legs are jello after BSS so i lunge without weights first, kind of like a warmup, and then do 3 sets of 10 BSS. I use dumbbells for my squats though.

use the pully's until you gain a little bit of confidence in yourself...and then hit the free weights. Youtube everything you can, read, read ,read, read as much as you can about lifting. I ordered New Rules of Lifting for Women, youtubed like crazy, read as much as I could online (omar isuf, alan aragon, bodybuilding.com, jamie eason, etc) and went to the gym with a plan of action.

Google, youtube, pinterest as well. I do new rules, and before I started I youtubed every exercise to make sure I was doing it right. I also googled alternatives (like the jackknife on the exercise ball, i tried, but I s*cked at it).

OMG I'm going to make a version of this on friday. I find by making my own sushi, I know what's going into it. Also try quinoa instead of white rice if you're worried about health content. Other than that, eat it and enjoy.

I make a 1 page chart of my exercises, so I can write down the reps and amount of weight. It's still carrying a duo-tang around, but it's less bulky.

My hands sweat like crazy! Once I discovered the mix grip (One hand over the top, one hand underneath) it helped out a lot. also you can buy a spray that makes your hands a little sticky. I also use the preset weights, and there's grips on them so it's a little easier.

try a vegan protein powder. I can't handle any form of dairy, and protein powder made me feel disgusting.
