@yokurio- if I wasn't already taken yes!

I did the Warrior Dash in May and that was completed in 50:51. This event included a 5k run and 12 obstacles. I just did the Casey Cares Foundation 5k run this past Sunday in the rain, up hill run in 36 minutes.

My boyfriend doesn't straight razor his chest but he uses clippers and I love it! Trimmed but not teenager bald.

I have no motivation or energy the week before my period, but as soon as it comes my energy flies through the roof!!!! I always workout through my period because it helps me feel better.

@lydia_abby_ga You look happy

Bex2Bslim- love your dress!

ChitownFoodie - love your haircut.

You look beautiful! Congrats on your great success and surviving 6 boys! I have one and that is enough.

Hi there! I am 5'3" and my starting weight was 154. I am down to 143 with an eventual goal of 130-135.
-
Yeah I have the same and love it!!!! It is amazing how MFP over/under estimates calorie burn. I got mine on EBay for like $80.

I work for a hospital as well and they implemented the mandatory flu shot about 2 years ago. At first I was like WTH, but figured I needed my job more and they were simply trying to keep me and our patients protected from a nasty illness.
-
I agree! Mind you, I was 18 when I had my son and weighed in 9 months pregnant at 146lbs. But my real moment was when I was pushing 155 not pregnant, that's when it really kicked in.

Absolutely stunning.

You look absolutely amazing and I totally love how you want to pay it forward. You are such a motivation and I am not saying that because I am trying to win your pay it forward gift, but because you really are a great motivator for others! Congratulations on your success and keep up the amazing work!

Yes, it is harder to run outside. I heard recently if you set your incline to 1 while running on the treadmill it is comparable to running outside. Don't know if that is true or not, but worth a try.

I will be done Thursday with C25K. I really want to start the B210K but really don't want to stop start if I am already running 30 minutes straight.
-
Great job! you can totally see a difference. I started 30DS and am on day 5. I am having issues with shins splints. Have you experienced any discomfort with the program?
-
I think I may try this tonight. i am having shin splint pain and I think it is from the jumping jacks and butt kicks.

The Polar FT40 tracks calories and is super easy to set up. I got mine on Ebay for $85.
-
Thanks for the suggestions! I know that I am doing the squats right because I take a body pump class and my instructor has personally shown me how to do them correctly. I really start to feel the discomfort when I do the jumping jacks, butt kicks and rump ropes. I may need to decrease weight because I am using 5lb dumbells.

I have been running first and then do the 30 day shred and it isn't bad. Yesterday I switched it and did 30 day shred first and it almost killed me. It was like my muscles weren't warmed up enough without the run.

U2popgirl- cute little kid you are holding and your smile!

I don't usually log on the weekends. It is kind of my time to chill. I usually make dinner Friday nights and my breakfasts throughout the weekend but other than that it is a free for all. I try and keep it balanced but that is hard when you have parties to go to all the time!

I just bought the Polar FT40 on Ebay for $85.00. I am not sure the difference between the FT40 and the FT60/FT80.

I live in Maryland too and want to run outside when it gets cooler. My problem is it really hurts to breath with the cold air. I was running outside until we had that 100 degree streak and then moved my workouts to the treadmill and my gym, which has an indoor track.
-
Great progress. BTW I LOVE your hair!
-
I was also reading that you really want to add more cardio to your routine when doing 30DS. I am doing C25k and on week 8 and plan on moving into the 5k to 10k program.

I bought an HMR watch but it has not arrived yet. I found a calculation online and it says for my weight I am probably burning around 168 calories per workout. I will repost Monday once I receive my HMR and can tell you if that is really accurate or not.
