I love it, I feel the same way, so nice to see a healthy attitude.

I recently upgraded from the fitbit one to the charge HR. It takes a bit of getting used to wearing something on the wrist but it's not bad. I had originally bought the Blaze but found it to be way to huge on my wrist even in the small size to I exchanged it for the charge HR. Happy with it so far. Should warn you though…

Just picked up my first dvd of hers and its fun. Thought it would be great for rainy days when walking outside isn't an option.

Keep thinking positvely Alison, you've mainted such a good attitude through everything you will get through this next bit too. The waiting is often the most challenging. Congratulations on completing chemo!!! Be patient with the whole weight gain/loss issue while you recover from the effects of chemo. For me I…

Hi there, glad to hear your enjoying mfp so far. I hope you continue to find it a simple helpful tool. I've sent you a friend request.

I used to weigh myself everyday and found it was too much of a roller coaster for me, so now I weigh myself once a week first thing in the morning. If you don't like the scale get out a measuring tape and record some of your measurements. The tracking on mfp is great to monitor your progress and you can pick which areas of…

I need this challenge! Broke a bone in my arm in December and get the cast off next week, I need something to help encourage me to get back to walking daily. In Canada 100 miles = 160.9 kilometers - yikes, better get moving!

I hope 2014 brings everyone a better sense of self, that we each find something that works for us in our daily lives to give us back some of the control we feel we lost when we were diagnosed. I have found using mfp and walking has been really helpful over the last few months of 2013. Here's to 2014, good health, happiness…

I totally plan on enjoying my Christmas including the food and maybe even a little wine. I will have a little of everything, moderation is key. Its just one day and its a day meant to be enjoyed. I have found in the past if I don't participate in the meal like the rest of my family I start feeling sorry for myself and then…

I've managed to walk every day this week and plan on bundling up to take my dog out for a brisk walk in the chilly weather shortly. Hope everyone has a nice weekend.
