Freaking numbers!!!!!!!

Sometimes it's not all about the numbers. Sometimes it's not all about the scale. Sometimes it's more about how we feel and learning how to love us the way we are. Then after that everything else will just start falling into place. I've been on the weight loss Journey way too long. Way too many ups and downs. I've decided that from this point on it's not going to be about weight loss it's going to be about learning how to live a better life a healthier life. Try not to focus on the numbers. Trying not to focus on the scale. Trying to focus on learning how to love myself.

    Well, weight loss is in fact about the numbers.

    I think there is a need in life to do both. I can work on my emotional issues and work on losing weight at the same time. I found that the way I viewed myself after weight loss was a major improvement. I like how I look, I am able to wear nice clothes, I am able to get much more done now that I'm not carrying all that extra weight. I'm not ashamed - in fact I'm really proud of myself for all that I've learned along the way.

    If I hadn't learned about calories and food and made the effort to count and control my intake, it never would have happened.

    There was a time that I became frustrated with all the tracking, but it is necessary - just like brushing, flossing, doing laundry etc. It's now part of my daily routine.

    Cmriverside, yes I understand that numbers are Incorporated and weight loss. However what I was talking about was related to much more. If I can't get my mental and emotional state in a better place the wait was won't be able to follow . I'll be stuck in a never-ending cycle if I eat to feel better but then I feel bad that I eat then I'm upset and I need to eat to feel better. In my case the weight is more than just a number the weight is more than just what I put in my mouth the wait is what my head is doing to me. So my statement above has more to relate with the fact of needing to learn how to love myself and accepting the life that I need to live. What does Love and acceptance I'll be able to move forward we're living a better life which includes eating healthier.
