well I've been taking Dostinex for 8 months now and I have to say I am still happy with the results. I went to the doctor today and although my levels are still high they are nothing like they were and i'm finding I have more good pill days than bad. I take it twice a week and am usually able to at minimum go to school and…

Tuna Salad with a Kick This tuna salad comes in at 556 calories(including crackers) and is my favorite go to meal, especialy when I don't feel like cooking. It's tasty and super filling and awesome for getting some protein without a lot of fat. Ingredients: 1 can cloverleaf tuna packed in water 2 Tbsp Yucatan 95% avocado…

My neighbor got lap band surgery three years ago and for the first year she lost a lot of weight, and I was considering getting it done. But after that first year the weight started coming back. The best thing to do is learn to eat better, teach yourself to exercise, teach yourself patience, and most importantly work…

Well I go see my doctor tomorrow, but the good news is that I got my period on saturday. My prolactin has gone down enough that it's back. I'm pretty happy :D

I started out only being able to walk for about 10 minutes a day, but before you know it you will be doing 45 minutes as well

A quick update: I'm going to the doctor August 1st but I have already noticed that the dostinex is starting to work. It's been almost 3 months and I'm hardly lactating at all! The dostinex still makes me dizzy and kinda weak on the days that i take it but the nausea has gotten better. And for me some of the best news is…

I had mine out just over a year ago at 28 and I have to say that you should hope for the best and prepare for the worst. I took over a month to recover and had a few trips to the emergency room. I recommend stocking up on high protein Ensure, the best thing ever, drink it cold over some ice. Sleep whenever you can,…

I ususally eat back if not all my exercise calories then at least my calorie goal for the day. I've been losing a 1lb a week fairly steadily. It really works.

I feel you can wear a bikini at any size, all that matters is your confidence in yourself. I found that going to a nude beach really helped me find the confidence to wear whatever I like at the regular beach. No where will you find more variety of body types and acceptance of all body types than at the nude beach.

I'm on my journey for weight loss but I've found my best friends are a sports bra that's one size smaller than my usual size with a lot of fabric in the front, and the eliptical machine. You still bounce around but not so much as when you're on the treadmill, I find my back doesn't hurt at all after the eliptical. I'm a…

This is such an awesome idea, my wife was getting discouraged with not seeing any other butch womyn, she will be so happy for a butch support group!

Dostinex Update: Well I've been on dostinex(cabergoline) for a month now and have figured out a system for not feeling so sick. It still makes me dizzy and nauseas but gravol takes care of the upset stomach and taking things easy for the day relieves the dizziness. It is a little hard to get used feeling under the weather…

sorry for not getting back to you sooner. My computer has been acting weird and I haven't been able to post in this group for whatever reason. As for your question. All those things happened to me. I haven't had a period in a year and I'm not yet 30. My breasts would get so sore that wearing a bra was impossible, and I…

my gym is a 45 minute walk away. I walk there and walk back.

hey, it's awesome that you're here! I just started a month ago and i have well over 150 lbs to lose but this is a great place and it really works. I know for me it took a month to get the hang of things and to change my eating in a way that i could maintain but it's worth it. today I went swimming for the first time in…

I haven't been on it long enough yet, but i will let you know if it helps my weightloss.

Bromocriptine can lower your prolactin back to normal levels. My prolactin being so high has stopped my periods so I'm taking it because i would like to have kids and also because of my age the lack of a period can lessen bone density over time. The side effects that tend to be the worse are nausea and dizziness, but my…

Something that might help both headaches and feeling tired and not being able to sleep is progressive muscle relaxtion which is a fancy way of saying tensing up and relaxing. You start at your head and work your way down tensing one muscle group at a time for a bout 15 seconds, then releasing the tension all at once and…

When you are thinking about spanking your child you should stop and think about any other situation in which hitting someone would be appropriate. ie. Would you hit your spouse if they did something wrong? Would you hit a coworker? Would you hit a stranger? If it's not okay to hit these people, why is it okay to hit your…

 I just celebrated my first week too, and yes this site is pretty cool. I like being able to track my exercise and see the days i've worked out add up. Feel free to add me too. The more support the better!

I had a similar problem, last year I started bromocriptine and I gained 44lbs in two months and I'm still trying to work it off. My doctor told me that for people with high prolactin you need to work out at least 3 times as much as people with normal levels. My levels are still very high( I went off the bromocriptine, but…
