YES! It is totally normal to have bad, fat bloated days. I am having one today! It is okay that you weren't on 100%..... eating foods that your body is not used to (bad foods in particular) can wreck havoc on your digestive system sometimes. Thus, being bloated. Do not beat yourself up, you are doing fine! Keep going and…

I agree with the foods mentioned. Also, maybe try running in the morning on the weekend. That might let you push through your "wall". I tend to do better in the morning.... less heat and humidity & fresher legs. Good luck!

Jedi training does not involve classes at gyms..... it involves the force. You might want to check into that.....

It has taken me over a year to get to my goal weight.... which I am still 0.4 pounds away from. My goal loss is only 35 pounds! It seems that the less you have to loose, the harder it is and the longer it takes.... I was fairly active before but eatting the wrong things. I have lost a pound a week.... for the most part. I…

I have 0.6 pounds to go before I am GW... I decided to go ahead and increase my calories today by 100... this gets me at losing 0.7 pounds/week. I plan on staying there until I reach GW and then adding 100 calories at a time for a month or so each to see how it goes. It should get better... my knee is healing so my workout…

you are amazing! The number of excuses I heard from others when I started this journey... either why they couldnt or why they thought I couldnt/wouldnt was amazing. Thank you for sharing this!

When you switched to maintenance, did you up your calories slowly or all at once? I am two pounds away from maintenance and I am nervous!

I am too a scale junkie! I had to get myself under control though and now I only weigh once a week, same day and time every week. Because of my schedule, it is hard for me to have the same routine everyday (even though I tend to eat the same things everyday) and that makes my weight flucuate (sp?) a little more. Because of…

I am going to send you a FR. MFP suggested 1250 calories for my goals.... I have not been working out much because of an injury, so I have been staying right around 1250. Granted... the holiday weekend that passed, I didnt log much, but most of the time I log religously. Feel free to check it out!

Yay for collar bones! And according to your ticker, you are most definitely doing something right! And I love the bad foods too..... I am from the south and my grandma makes the BEST fried chicken, buttermilk biscuts, butter beans, and butter pecan cake....... oh I was raised on that stuff! (butter, butter, butter!)

I am recovering from a knee injury and I have not been given the okay to run again. My June goal will be 50 miles of walking/biking/swimming and starting to run again!

One hint about the water: squeeze the sides of the cup together... then you can just pour it right in your mouth! A wine station sounds fun, but for me it would depend on how hot it is whether or not I would want to drink wine. I am so happy for you! Good luck and congrats!

all I can say is: incredible!

You are an inspiration. You amaze me and I wish that more people had the drive and attitude that you do. Thank you for sharing!

any workout that helps with toning/strengthening or cardio will help you loose weight and inches. That combined with a good diet and you will get there before you know it!

In the exercise database, there is an option for walking carrying a child or 15 pound load.... similar. I have always just used the estimated calories on MFP and never had a HRM and it has worked. You can also google "calories burned...." and many times there will be a website that comes up with a calorie calculator. Good…

welcome ladies! you can do this! Just be honest... that is the only way to learn what is really going on! Good luck!

No it is not bad. Fat, sugar, sodium are all nutrients that your body NEEDS. Since you are recovering from anorexia, your body needs these in any form. Your body has been denied these nutrients, so putting them back in right now is GOOD! I suffered with anorexia a few years ago. Focus on learning to be okay with eating…

that is amazing! way to go!

Give yourself a cut off time..... say 9 p.m. Then you can still have your snack, but you just have to stop after a certain time.
-
I have used the suggested levels from MFP and as long as I stay within calories and exercise, I loose. MFP has worked for me!

This. Also.... harsh reality is, its not just her dad that has gotten her this way. I have a 10 year old son and have worried about his weight.... I was always the chubby girl and he is the chubby boy. You cannot control what she does with her dad, but you can control what she does with you. Period. I am not judging or…
