'I won't join a gym until I lose some weight'. Yep. That was my mentality before. I was always worried about peoples perceptions of me and it was a catch 22; couldn't lose weight until I hit the gym! Now I joined a gym even though I had to put aside my insecurities and I'm well on my way to my goal.

I am higher than I want to be, obviously. Those images are good, but how much do breasts account for in regards to body fat percentage? Because I think I'm getting down to as low as they'll go. Honestly, I'd allow yourself a little grieving time. There's no race to the finish line with weight-loss and fitness. If eating is what you need to help yourself emotionally, indulge a little. Make it something small and make sure you enjoy it with GUSTO. Commit to it. =)

Nope, I haven't. What would that involve me doing? I honestly like the functionality of my android, I love the keypad and the sync options with my Google account. I just don't like how slow it is and how most of the applications are really sluggish.

I have to wait until May until I can get my trade-in! I have an android and it's useless. Apps freeze or just plain don't work. If you close the keypad with certain programs active, the phone shuts off. Now my location function won't work for navigation. Got lost on the way to a yard sale yesterday. XD

Sadly, I can't! My husbands half-sister is coming in from out of state and he hasn't seen her for 9 years!

For me, this is the exact reason. I am also worried about pushing myself too hard too quickly, I have a long-standing knee injury, so I need to keep into account how it feels every time I try a new workout routine. Having something like C25K allows me to keep a time frame.

You have to take into account their start weight. ANYTHING seems like a stretch when you're overweight, so giving yourself a realistic goal to meet and THEN change the goal posts isn't a bad thing. Chubby or not, they've made the decision to better their HEALTH, not just their 'chubbiness'.

Oh man, that sounds like fun. I'm so lucky, I live near the 280 ramp on Larpenteur, so it's just down the way from my house. We were thinking about leaving the car at home this year, but I don't think I can ask my five year old to do all that walking!

Keep your head up and run on. I still get bouts of complete insecurity, especially when working out with/around pretty people, but I'll never be where they are if I let it hold me back.

Apathy. In my case, I'm the lightest I've ever been, I'm bored of my routine and I'm just feeling tired and burned out overall. It lasts for a few days and then I'm suddenly invigorated again. Maybe try a new routine?

Last year we couldn't even give ours away! We went 2 days and after we knew we wouldn't be going again, we offered it to people on the way out; I think people assumed we wanted money for it, but we really just wanted other people to use it so it didn't go to waste! Looks like I'll be going on opening day. OOF.

This is the issue I'm having right now too! I still have a couple more pounds to reach for my goal (more than my ticker notes, I'm raising the bar) but my stomach feels like it's going to be with me forever!

I think the comment was made to be taken like you're bettering your health so you can live longer and be in your son's life longer. I wouldn't see that as a bad thing! My children ARE my motivation. I never want my daughter to grow up hearing me complain about my insecurities.
