Definitely saw some good improvement, so I'm happy there. I did the fit test on Sunday and then did the MIC on Monday. Couldn't bear to do both on the same day.

Just finished. This will be tough; not just because it's hard work but because my neighbor downstairs appears to not like all the jumping. :/ not really sure what to do. I've already modified some moves to avoid banging on the floor. And I'm doing my workouts at reasonable hours I think (usually in the 5pm hour). I'll keep…

I'd be with my mini on her class' field trip.

1 I listen to my music loudly...very, very loudly. 2 I love taking photos. 3 I just got a promotion. :) 4 I hate commercials so I am uber thankful for the invention of DVR. 5 Pizza is my favorite food. 6 Oh how I haaaate when I see someone wearing black socks with white shoes. Boils my blood for some inexplicable reason. 7…

Favorite bands (because I can't pick just one!!!): Led Zeppelin, Incubus Favorite musician: Jon B.

My brother is 5'8; his wife is pushing 6 foot. Sure it might look funky to outsiders but they work so well together and are very happy. If you dig him, then you should just go with it.

Ha! I've never felt that way but I am now. lol

Totally agree. :)

So glad this was shared. I have not been very effective in explaining this concept to my friends, but this breaks it down perfectly. Copying and pasting to my email so I can save and share. :)

I totally feel your frustration and feeling of obligation to stop. My downstairs neighbor is not terrible, but occasionally he does "complain" about the noise (read: bangs on the ceiling to get me to stop my kid from stomping/jumping/dancing/or whatever else a 5-year old typically does). He actually came up to complain on…

Depends on where you're going, I think. I'd say Dress #3. But this could be a pain if you are going out dancing; constant pulling up and making sure you don't have a Janet Jackson moment. Otherwise, I would go with Dress #1. Looks really pretty on you and is flirty and fun.

I can't believe it - two more workouts and we're headed into recovery week!

Booking agent for and member of faux rock band, Candied Walnuts. But in real life I'm a paper pusher. lol

Single... ...but not ready to mingle. Perhaps even terrified of the minglage. lol

Gwen Age: 33 1. I am addicted to my iPhone. 2. I watch at least one episode of Friends every night. Now that I think about it, that leads to... 3. ...I need the TV on in order to fall asleep at night. 4. I listen to music every day. 5. Will Smith is my unicorn.

I can totally understand why that would offend you. I think you made your point in your response to her on her FB and I'd leave it at that. She definitely sounds like a negative person and a confrontation about her ignorance would probably not get you anywhere but frustrated and angry. You can either block her feed or…

I wouldn't mind, I guess. But I would rather he just go ahead and shave it all off and be bald (or very close to it).

I haven't even decided to start dating again yet, so I haven't given this much thought. But I'll give this topic a go. As a divorcee, it would be a bit hypocritical of me to say I wouldn't. I think, though, that if I met a great guy who has been divorced once, I would not count that as a reason to not date him. Now, if he…

Yeah, I would need to HEAR the accent before making an informed decision. ;)

Great improvements! :) Don't fret about no weight loss. Chalene (Johnson) explains it on her blog, but I think the gist is this: "...The motivation to start a new exercise program is almost always to lose weight. However, what most personal trainers know--and most at-home exercisers do not--is that a new exercise program…

I may have to try this because when Shaun wants to 'warm up' on the abs dvd I want to throw my TV out. I'm thinking, I just finished a hell of a lot more than a warm up Shaun! lol

That is how it was (actually still is) with my mom. They NEVER believe not only that she is my mom, but that she has two other kids (including one four years older than me). I just pray that I have inherited that young-looking gene...but so far it doesn't seem like it. hahaha In any event, I do agree with the others - you…

Glad you posted this! I also felt like week 3 was rough to get through. I was super tired and felt like I was taking more breaks in some days. But I'm glad I pushed through and we are now on to week 4. I just keep envisioning myself poolside in Vegas this summer. :) lol

Starting week 4 tomorrow, too! Woot woot! Insanity is kicking my bum but I've been enjoying it so far.
-
I do mine right when I get home from work (about 5-530p). Then dinner, homework, and relax for a bit before bed. My 5 1/2 year old spends my insanity time either at her grandma's house (she is just a few doors down from us), reading, drawing, or playing on the computer. Occasionally she will jump in and "work out" with me.…

BUMP. Just dumped all the ingredients (save the cheese/hoagies) into the crockpot. CANNOT wait to try this in a few hours. :)

Afreakingmazing transformation. Not only have you kicked *kitten* losing all that weight, but you even look younger now, too. Awesome job. Oh and that wedding photo - gorgeous!

It will get easier as your baby gets older. I have a 5 year old and am just starting to regain an adult social life. I have gone out with the girls more in the past six months than I have in the years prior. Whether its going out dancing, concerts, comedy shows, a movie, or hanging at a friend's placing shooting the sh*ts.…

So much word. Shanita is one of my faves. She seems most like me - enjoying the benefits but hating life during the actual workouts. lol
