Hi there! I'm 26... I've already lost about 100 lbs, still have about 40ish to go! Sent you a FR, anyone else feel free to add me as well! :o)

My name is Alishia. I get called your name, (Uh-lish-uh) But it's actually pronounced (Uh-Leesh-a) I also get called Uh-lee-she-a..lol.

What she said. As long as you aren't skipping breakfast to eliminate calories, then I don't think it matters. A days worth of calories is a days worth, whether you start your first meal at 7 am or 11am or 1 pm.

Correct me if I am wrong - but isn't ESE - where you eat, then fast 24 hours, then eat...etc? If so, I personally could not adhere to that particular IF program. What I have recently began dabbling in as far as IF is concerned is the Lean Gains (I think it is?) approach, where you fast for 18hrs and feed for 6hrs. (Or how…

I just got a groupon email regarding these: http://www.groupon.com/deals/dc-bst-gg-nooodle-shirataki-0-calorie-noodle?c=dnb&p=6 I'm not sure if it's a good deal or what... I've never bought them. But maybe someone can use it..lol.

I think you sounded judgmental and harsh upon reading the post. The topic IS "You know what really bugs me..." and then you go on talking about other people having kids. Not yourself waiting to have kids, but other people who decided to have kids at an early age. With that said, I had my daughter at 19. She's almost 7 now,…

My PB was squats at 180 and DL at 170. 3 sets 8 reps each. I am 5'4 and 180 lbs. My goal is 1.5 of body weight each... so I still have a ways to go!

You are awesome!
-
Thanks! I love your shoes, btw! :o)

You are doing great! 15 lbs is a wonderful start. Don't get discouraged by changes you can't see. I can definitely relate to how you're feeling in reference to the mirror. I think this though, has a lot more to do with our minds than what we are actually seeing! Something I constantly tell myself, is that you can't…

Not losing is WAY better than gaining! :o)

Bump to read later!

Exactly! I see lot of success stories on here of people losing quickly and I think it can be discouraging for others when they don't lose as quickly. That was the whole point of my post I guess. You can get there if you stick with it. It might take longer, but a 7 year change is better than no change at all!

Oh man, I could write a book about online dating. I have had so many good dates and so many bad dates. I have met crazies and I have been the crazy - hey it happens!! But in the end, I would do it ALL over again. I met my husband on plentyoffish.com and after our first date we were inseparable.

Hi there! I started my journey at around 280 and I am 100 lbs down... it CAN be done, you just have to be persistent and NOT give up. It's taken me a long time to lose this much, (I've seen others do it in half the time on here!) and I still have 30 to go... Feel free to friend me! :o)

Before I joined a gym, I had bought a treadmill. I used it a lot, but eventually I decided I wanted more out of my workout - not just walking/running... so I sold it and joined the gym. I've been a gym member and goer for over a year now and I don't regret the money I've spent on it. I love going to the gym, it's my own…

My husband knows... and he definitely doesn't care. He tells me how much he weighs too. We are in this together for the long haul, so I think something like weight - which is an indicator of one's health - is something important that should be shared. Neither one of us are super fit, but we do try to eat right and work…

I go early as to avoid a lot of people. I am really self conscious in the gym. One morning though, I was doing squats and I had a gentleman approach me and compliment me. He said my form was great, and my weight (at the time it was 165#) was "impressive" It was quite the ego booster!

Oddly enough, I made and posted a protein pancake recipe as my status this morning. Mine looks a little something like this: 3/4 C whole grain quick oats 5 egg whites 1/4 C fat free cottage cheese 1/4 C plain greek yogurt** 4 packets artificial sweetener (optional) Blend all together to get a smooth pancake like…

I have a chocolate protein powder and when mixed with water it succccks and makes me gag too. I have found a protein brownie mix though that I make and it helps me to get in my protein, while having a treat, and not wasting the nasty powder. I mix 6 scoops of my powder, (37g each) 3 egg whites, & 6 oz of unsweetened…

Bump! I'd like to know the answer to this as well, as I've been looking and pricing calipers as well! :o)

I go to the gym at like 3:30 am, so this theory doesn't apply for everyone. I usually take a 5 Hour Energy shot before my workout. It gives me with ZING without the jitters. They aren't too expensive, but the cost does add up.

I have one - she is almost 7. The hubby and I are currently trying for number 2! This would be our first child together (2nd husband) and his first one. I would be happy with 2... I think he wants 2 of his own making it 3 for me...lol. We will see though!

This^ Times a hundred! I played with weights a little before getting the book, but really didn't follow a plan. I love this book and I think it explains everything fairly well. With that said. If you just have hand weights, I don't think it'd be a great investment. You need heavier weights. The idea of this book is to get…

I am also doing this! Currently on stage 3, and the workouts are a bit longer than 20-30 minutes now. I love it!

I recently started the New Rules of weight Lifting for Women and I REALLY love the program. With that said, you will definitely need heavier weights in order to lift heavy. I am about 10 weeks in, and I am currently squatting 170, and dead lifting 160...

I have massive sweat crotch too. It IS embarrassing...so I feel your pain! Luckily I have found some awesome workout pants that you can't see it in! WOO! I get mine from Walmart, they are made by Danskin http://www.walmart.com/ip/Danskin-Now-Womens-Ruched-Waistband-Yoga-22-Capri-Pant/19593217 ETA: everyone says wear…

Here is mine! I loooooooved my dress. When I put it on, I was like THIS is it!! I had tried on a handful of dresses before I got to this one too. All the others were okay... this one DID it for me!

Like this person ^ stated when it's right, you know. And again, you need to experience a few that are wrong before you can judge this. With that said, this is my second marriage. My first marriage, I had known my ex for about a year when we got hitched. Fast forward about 3 years later and I find out he was cheating on me…
