  • Glad to hear your W5D3 went well! Mine is tomorrow and for the longest time I was worried about it. However after last night's run W5D2, I'm excited to give it a try. I followed the recommendations in this group and slowed things down. Yesterday I did 8min and then pushed for 10min on the second set. It was hard but I felt…
  • Day 14/21 here. I've had a busy week and wasn't able to check in, but have been doing my best to meet my daily goals. It hasn't been perfect, as there were a few days of complete chaos when I was over on calories. However, I still tracked and was aware of what I was eating. I haven't exercised every day, but completed week…
  • Day 7 - Yesterday was an NSV (non scale victory) for me. It was one of those crazy days full of driving, meetings, errands, etc. I got my to-do list finished at work/home, made a healthy supper, took the whole family grocery shopping and bought a fridge/cupboard full of healthy options and then still got my workout in at…
  • Good luck! I just finished week 3.
  • Days 4, 5 an 6 done... Not perfect, but definitely progress. It was a busy weekend with my SIL and son's birthdays, hockey wrap up. MFP calorie goal - I was over two days and under one. But with two birthday dinners that's not too bad in my books! I avoided going completely off plan and tracked everything. Looking back I…
  • Day 3 was a snow day here and I resisted the urge to stay in my pjs all day, snacking and watching tv. I find it a lot harder to stay on track on days that I am at home. Started week 3 of c25k and discovered that it's a good thing I work out in my basement alone. When they say you should be able to talk when you run, I…
  • Day 2 complete! Today is my rest day because I work late. I was 12cal over my MFP target, but still under my max of 1500 so I'm still considering it a success. Looking forward to starting week 3 of C25K tomorrow, although it would be a lot better if spring was here so I could run outside. Drank 2L of water - a lot of it…
  • Day 1/21 was a success - Food logged/under calorie goal, with the help of a few exercise calories. Sodium was high though, so I'll try to cut that back today - Drank 2L of water (finally measured my water bottle and found out it was 750ml, so I only have to drink 3!) - Completed week 2 of c25k program - Limited TV to 1…
  • I'm late joining as well, but think this is a great idea! Thanks for getting it started. I tried something similar a month or so ago, but didn't make it through the 21 days. Hopefully this challenge and support will help me build some new and healthier habits. 1) Follow MFP calorie goal, tracking every day 2) Exercise 6…
  • I'm a stay at home mom of a 4 year old and 10 month old. It's be great to have some more friends in the same situation.
  • Very inspirational. Thanks for sharing!
  • I just saw this recipe on another post and am going to try it. http://www.canyoustayfordinner.com/2011/01/31/buffalo-chicken-rolls/
  • Just type breastfeeding into the food database. It'll give you a bunch of options including feeding exclusively, gives me 500 extra calories each day. Good luck!
  • Looking forward to trying these recipes out. Thanks!
  • July 20 - 197.2 Down 3.6 so far... better get my butt in gear if I want to make it to 10lbs!

  • Hi everyone, feel free to add me. I've got two boys ages 4 and 4 months. I've gotten back to my pre preggo weight, but I was 50+ pounds overweight before that. So lots left to lose. Looking forward to getting to know you all a little better.
  • Feeling very motivated today. I looked at the scale a little early and the number started with a ONE!! It's been a long time since I've seen that. I changed my profile slightly and am eating about 200 cal less a day now so hopefully that will keep things going. I also eat 500 extra because I'm breastfeeding. Not looking…

  • Thanks for the dvd suggestions, I'll definitely check them out. We have a wii too and I was wondering about getting a wii fit board. Still not sure when I'll find the time, I'm new to the whole mom of 2 thing.... but I will find time!

  • I'm just getting started and haven't been doing any exercise - besides taking care of 2 boys, the house and gardens - so my exercise plan for this month is pretty simple compared to the rest of you. On nights that my husband is home, I'll take a 45 min walk with my dog. On nights he isn't home, I'll do 45 min on the…

  • Hi everyone! I'm Jen, 29, living in a small town in Ontario, Canada. I'm a proud mom of two boys, ages 4 and 4 months, that keep me very busy. My goal is to lose 50lbs (and probably need another 20 after that) so that I can keep up with them! Nice to meet you all.
  • Thanks for the responses! I'm looking forward to getting to know you all a little better.
