It's pretty intense. I'm moderately active and had a lot of trouble moving to week 2. I still want to try again, though! I'm sure you'll both do fine. For calories, I'm going to pull an 'MFP' here and tell you to buy an HRM. If you don't want to, use a calculation website. You'll basically be doing 25-30 minutes of light…

PCOS here. Paleo, and I love it.

My main issue with eating mostly meat is that I get full rather quickly, and tend to eat less. I can't eat 3 large meals a day & 2 snacks (as crazy as that sounds, but everyone is different) without feeling like my stomach will explode at the end of the day.

Should have been more clear, sorry. No grains, gluten, or dairy. Forgot that in the original post. Lots of good ideas though! I also have a hard time digesting soy, and corn is a grain so that is a no-go for me. I'll look up the ingredients though!

All of them do, except for the trail mix. Maybe I should eat more nuts, since my meals are so low. Good idea!

I'll be 23 in less than a month. I work a full time job, love to drink and sit on my butt playing PC games all night. I'm also going to school in May, my full time work is a desk job and have a lot of daily struggles. Add me - Could use some people in range of my situation!! :)

Hi! I'm currently a size 15/16. Down about 20 lbs, and only 5'2 (if there are other short girls out there!). Add me, I log every day and support/motivate when I can! :smokin:

Hello! I'm 22 and begin studying Software Development in May.. will need all the college tips and motivation I can get. Feel free to add!

Were you always overweight? Nope! I was one of the skinnier girls who grew up around body dismorphia and learned to hate my appearance. Or were you once a healthy weight? Most of my life. Didn't start gaining until 5 years ago at the sprout of PCOS. My best and most frequent weight was 120. Did you "let yourself go"? Not…

The rotisserie chicken idea is fantastic! I've never thought of that before. Thank you for this!

Hahaha. My daydream consists of pizza, lemon bars, chocolate, pizza, and.. pizza. It's my favorite food! :flowerforyou:

Those are all good suggestions! I generally keep tuna in a pouch, trail mix and some super dark chocolate at my desk. Sunflower seeds, too. I make my food every day before I go to work, but I don't work in the morning so I could see that being a roadblock for some.

This is fantastic, way to go!

Thanks everybody! I'm hoping to pull off my acutal goal in 6 months. Maybe I can sucker my gym out of another free assessment then? How do you all get your stats?
-
Thanks, I'll take that as a compliment. I do think they're terrible, I spent most of my life hovering around 120 (I'm 5'2) and jumped to 199 in less than a year because of health reasons. It's weird seeing myself this large, because I feel like I'm in a fat suit.

Thanks!

Of course she is real, she's just part of my collection! :)

About 3 lbs, which is not even half the goal I set for myself (for the month).

4-6 hours. My body won't sleep more! If I'm drunk though, 7-8.

Change your diary to carbs/protein 25%, fat 50%. That's the best way to keep track. It seems crazy, but it really is not. Throw away the old food. It's so worth it in the end, do not allow room for error and quit things cold turkey - at least for the first 30 days. Then bring things back in as your body will allow. Coffee…

Returned a pair of size 16's to fit into a smaller pair. :glasses: Way to go, everyone!

TAZO 'Awake' black tea brewed from water in my keurig (I think they have k-cups too, if you're into that) and a packet of Truvia. If I don't make breakfast right away, I'll have a mandarin too. Perfect size for me!

I tend to go with mixed fajitas (beef/pork/chicken/bacon/shrimp) sans tortillas. It comes with rice/beans/lettuce/guac and I ask for no sour cream. I don't eat the rice or beans, but I mix the guac in with the fajitas and it is FANTASTIC. It's dairy free, very low carb and high protein.. just watch the sodium. :) My…

$26.49/m after tax. That's the cheapest we have here. Looked at one yesterday that would run me $348 for a personal trainer + $44.99/m, but I don't think I'll do that. My gym has the bare minimum right now. I am going to look at one today with an indoor pool, indoor track, classes, free training help, etc.. I'm guessing…

I had one awhile back that I never used, so I gave it away. I can't remember what it was. I love them too! What a great motivator, keep up the good work as well!

Luckily I know how to use the device. Was really looking for suggestions, as there are many ways to do something 'right'. Thanks for everyone's input. Now that I've got some suggestions, I think I'll log them seperatley. :drinker:
