  • i use the shakes occasionally. they have helped me cut out fast food and soda. however if you do not change your eating habits along with drinking the shakes they will not be beneficial. you have to say to yourself if i stopped doing the shakes "would i be able to maintain a healthy lifestyle without them".   • Hey, try eating a cleaner diet. I only went back a few days but i notice fast food almost everyday. Use those calories on things like lean meat, fish and vegetables and maybe throw in a few nuts like almonds or pistachios. This might help. Either way its better for you! Good luck

  • Exercise more, to earn extra calories, and eat more low calorie things such as vegetables and fruit. Have smaller portions and include more vegetables.
  • Food can be addicting however I believe any addiciton can be controlled. Doing things in moderation and a steady pace always has helped me.   • It is a general guideline. Yes there is always exceptions just like anything in life.
  • Also, you do not want to eat too little or your body will begin going into a starvation mode and you will plateau. You will need to shock your system once and awhile if you plateau and eat more calories than normal. Hope this helps.
  • It takes roughly a defiict of 3500 calories to lose 1 lb. So if you are eating 500 cals less a day you should be roughly losing a lb a week. You always want your calorie intake to be less than output. If you want to maintain the weight it should be roughly the same. For a rough guidance i would stick to what MFP tells you.…
  • IMO calories are calories whether it comes from fruit and vegetables or if it comes from a burger. Only difference is you can have alot more vegetables than burgers. Maybe try the low cal gatorade. My girlfriend drinks that from time to time and it virtually tastes the same.
