Hi! I'm attempting to lose around 80 pounds total. I'm down 12 since starting again in June, almost back to my starting weight when I made the attempt last year (and gained back along with 12 more pounds). I'm not sure what my Christmas goal is. My loss has been pretty slow this time around, despite doing the exact same…

You look fantastic!

Me. I'd go nuts if I couldn't munch on some chips or candy once in a while. I couldn't care less what someone else eats - if it works for them, great. I do NOT like when someone tells me their way is better than mine, especially when it's working for me.

I've been around a while, but I just came back again last week. Have between 70-80 pounds to lose. Add me!

Hi! I'm starting back up (again...for the oh, fifth time?) too. I did really well last year - was halfway to a 70 pound loss goal - when I just sort of...stopped. I'm not even really sure why. This comes after losing weight before getting pregnant with my daughter in 2010, another failed attempt in 2008, etc. I gained…

Lunges or squats. I was born without cartilage in my knees, so it basically hurts like crazy to do those types of exercises. I don't avoid weight lifting/strength training, but I don't like to do it, so I rarely do, even though I know I should.

I made one on the fly this morning. Frozen strawberries and bananas, frozen yogurt, milk, and a scoop of chocolate protein powder. Walla. Chocolate covered strawberry/banana smoothie. It was tasty.
-
Well. How nice for you. Your food choices don't make you a snob. Your condescending post does.

I made a smoothie this morning with chocolate whey protein powder. 1 scoop powder 1/2 bag frozen smoothie mix - I used strawberries and bananas with frozen yogurt chunks 1/2 cup skim milk Yum. Chocolate covered strawberry shake.

www.iowagirleats.com is one of my all time favorites. She takes recipes and slims them down. I am a picky eater, and I've found tons of recipes on her blog that I love.

I love the app. So easy to use.

What a great achievement, and welcome back!

So much this.

Me too, I lost 14 pounds in the first month and now nothing for the last six weeks or so. I think I'm eating way too much sugar.

I have a travel mug I fill with a K-cup of whatever dark, bold roast Keurig cup I have. I use a single serving of creamer and a Splenda French vanilla packet. I used to get Caribou Coffee's Northern Lite Vanilla Latte, but now that I have a Keurig, I just use that.

Sometimes I do, sometimes I don't. I tend to exercise longer and harder if I know I'm going out to dinner or having a special meal that day, so I know I won't be way over in calories.

I did OK. Had pizza Saturday night, but I'd burned about 800 calories at the gym so I felt OK about eating it. I did pretty well the rest of the weekend.

I've been losing inches. I started in April, and I'm down two pants sizes. However, my weight has stayed almost the same after the initial 14 pound loss, and has even gone up a few times likely due to muscle gain. So I'd say the inches first.

I work out really early in the mornings before work, and I'm generally not hungry until after I'm done and get to work. I usually eat a whole wheat English muffin with peanut butter, a banana, and a low cal/non fat yogurt. I tend to burn about 700-800 calories during my morning workout so my breakfast might look like a lot…

This looks terrific, and I'm making these this afternoon!

Feel free to add me! I'm just starting out too (started a little over a week ago). Good luck on the journey!

Sweet Chili wraps? I didn't even know they had those. I love that Sweet Chili sauce. Yum.
-
Congratulations! I'm just starting out, and I can't wait to be making a post like this in a few weeks! Way to go!

Yup! Been there. If I have enough calories left in the day, I'll order a grilled chicken sandwich and use one packet of light mayo. Otherwise, a grilled snack wrap is another good way to go. Add the apples as a side and you've got a pretty tasty meal.
