Further, for me, the best carbs are protein carbs. Beans, beans, beans. Lentils, black beans, garbanzo beans, all high in protein. Useful carbs!!

and don't be afraid to eat the eat yellow along with the white. That's where the nutrients are at. Fat doesn't make you fat, sugar does.

I quit for 112 days last summer then started again. This time I'm on day 4, but it has to be permanent. I have a dozen ulcers, which are caused by smoking, but have damn near zero chance of healing whilst smoking.

I'm 40 and had the honor of being double scoped in February. Glad I did. They removed two polyps, and discovered 12 ulcers in my stomach. Well worth the "embarrassment" to finally begin to feel better and have peace of mind.

I'll support you. My addiction is black licorice. I was diagnosed with a dozen stomach ulcers in February. I was told that black licorice can help ease the pain when a flare up occurs. The ulcers are getting better but I still eat the licorice...ALOT. Particurally, Good and Plenty's...I'm not sure those are even real…
