Don't think long term....conquer one craving at a time. I like to say I acutally haven't quit, I just haven't had one for nearly two years. Best wishes! It can be done, it just takes tenacity.

My kids (ages 11 & 10) made some this weekend - just put them in glass dessert cups. I think ramekins would work good too. It is great to be able to make single servings and not have to have the entire cake sitting around calling my name....big cakes seem to yell louder than a single cupcake...mainly because I can silence…

I did not 'quit' smoking....I am just not having one today (or tomorrow, or the next day...). Have not had one now for over a year, come to think of it.

While that looks quite tasty, that is definitely not what scones are in the midwest. Our scones are a heavy flour and buttermilk concoction with a slightly sweet taste. Fruit such as blueberries, raisins or cranberries are often incorporated. Some top with jelly of some sort, but I like mine plain. Very interesting, tho.
