I have the same problem so I am trying not to weigh myself so much. I do check my measurements once a week and find that is a better indication of my progress.

my pounds arent moving either but my inches are and that in itself is an accomplishment. I have been on a plateau for a few weeks. Hope to break it this week.

Same at my gym. It is a small gym and from what I can see most people there are serious about what they are doing. Have to admit from time to time I look at the speed of the people on either side of me when on the treadmill. thanks everyone! Yep, it is the little things that keep us going! Love MFP and all the support and motivation on here:happy: Forgot to add, my horse has gone into the run in shelter and hasnt come out . She must have been out all night. Now she is safe in the shelter with her buddy.

I too have fat knees but have noticed a difference since I started doing leg presses, squats and lunges. Wasnt able to do them before because my knees were so weak.

same thing happened to me! I thought my legs were going to fall off but the next time I tried it , it was that much easier. It really does get better:smile:

I havent seen this happen at my gym. Most people there are serious about getting fit which is why I chose this one. The staff are awesome too .

definitely c25k! I am 256 lbs and doing a 5km this weekend. I will probably end up walking most of it but thats ok. I have registered for 3 more this summer and I hope to be completely running the last two in September and October.
