                Another one going with the couch to 5k. 3 weeks ago I couldn't even run to the letterbox and back. I'm now running for 3 minutes at a time and doing 2.12ks in 30 minutes. Doesn't sound like much now, but it's better than nothing!

                I guess all you can do is use it as motivation. Looking at your profile I only live over the haywards from you. Lifestyle gym in the hutt does gold coin entry zumba classes on Wednesdays at 7.30pm. I am looking for a highly uncoordinated buddy to go with if you want someone to work out with?!

                I think you call them an elliptical? I just put it on light resistance then go at a walking pace for the walk bits, then go as hard as I can for the run.

                I agree with getting your shoes fitted. I bought a good pair or shoes, and even walking in them I'd get pain, but I was fine walking around in my flimsy chucks jandals etc. Went to a sports shoe shop were the do proper fittings, no problem since

                I'm doing my c25k on a cross trainer. Similar movement to running, but you don't get the impact of hitting the ground
