Well Said!

Link to the calorie values here: http://www.pizzaexpress.com/uploads/documents/calorie.pdf I like the pollo ad astra and maybe the chocolate fudge cake with ice cream would do?

Looking at the results there were 400 runners last time, you will have plenty of company!: http://www.parkrun.org.uk/norwich/results/latestresults/

Top Half, long sleeve base layer and a soft shell jacket, if it's really cold a merino wool base layer and another layer on top plus softshell jacket. Bottom half, running tights. Gloves, a buff round my neck and one of the headband things to keep ears warm. As has been mentioned the karrimor stuff at sports direct is good…

Wow, extensive list, good luck with them and the sub 20m 5k!
-
Apart from Park run's I have a 10 k and 5k cross country booked.

Sure, here is a link ( http://www.facewest.co.uk/Ron-Hill-Trail-Microlight-Jacket.html ). Millets had these at 30 pounds last week, might be worth a look. Your question about Buff, here they are: ( http://www.buffwear.co.uk/index.php?route=common/home ) They are just a tube of material that you can wear many different…

I tend to wear a buff round my neck which stops a lot of sweat transferring to my top when doing a longish run, that seems to stop it getting too wet which will certainly cool you down when you stop moving. I also put a jacket on when I finish, I have a Ron Hill trail running jacket which folds into its own pocket and has…

I can sell you some that has been de-hydrated if you want?
-
If the fingers are a bit dry spread nutella on them!
-
Don't need the place, but good luck for the run!

Selling to public sector is difficult as their buying is well regulated through bodies like the OGC. If it were me I would pick a softer target, Running & cycling clubs. Local sports teams etc.
-
Not recommended, there will be blood in the outcome, for sure!

Parkrun. 5k

3.5 miles at 10 minute mile pace.
-
This, maybe try 15 minutes run, 3 minutes walk X 4 sessions and reduce the walk times as you get more fit.
-
I like to lick "the knife" between customers, can't find the calorie count for that though!

Hi, thanks for the response. I saw the other group but was trying to stir some UK centric interest, unfortunately I think this group is pretty dead

I think that's the secret, you need to find the shoes comfortable if you are going to run in them. The benefit of buying somewhere like the sweatshop is you get the 30 day exchange option should they not be right for you after you have bought them.
-
I saw that and you're right very interesting. I slightly over-pronate but use neutral shoes. This is on the basis that I don't find the "correction" shoes comfortable and have now done many miles in good (Brooks Ghost) neutral shoes.

Trouble with this approach is decent shops go out of business and free gait analysis becomes a thing of the past!

I never realised until this thread that these disturbing and frankly evil things happened. I have decided to divert my regular charity donation away from the funds to help injured troops returning from Afghanistan and instead find a charity that supports those who's lives have been blighted by Subway using a knife that was…

Might need to add a fish course of fish and chips in now someone mentioned them!

For me: Prawn puri. Tandori mixed grill with a madras sauce on the side & associated side dishes A selection of cheeses & crackers A magnum of Pol Roger Champagne to wash it down with!

Yes, I usually gym or run after work so will have a banana about 6pm and dinner after training. They certainly keep me full till then. Some are microwave and some are oven so check if you only have access to a microwave. They are typically around 400 calories and they are listed in the database.
-
Quote from OP " However, for the sake of who use the database to log food....." English 2/10 ;-)
-
I use them a lot for lunches at work, really nice and lots of the time they are on two for £6 deals so good value as well.
-
With a side of confit haggis of course!
-
And the celts, hence the deep fried mars bar!
