I haven't had a tummy tuck but I have had a couple of c-sections. If your doctor gave you the OK that's great! But really, I think you need to listen to your body. http://www.extremely-fit.com/fitness-tips/2009/01/gaining-weight-started-working/ I found this article to be extremely helpful. I always gain a good 4-5lbs when I begin working out heavily. Takes a couple of weeks for my body to catch up and the scale starts to move again!

I haven't noticed that my legs got bigger. I do love the awesome burn from spinning. I only spin a couple of times per week as I try to keep my workouts varied. Your bottom will be a bit sore but that goes away by your 2nd or 3rd class. Overall, it's a great way to burn calories!

I don't know that what I take helps lose weight but I am anemic so I take iron. I also take Vitamin C, niacin, and zinc. Trying to lower my cholesterol the natural way (with niacin) and the Vitamin C and zinc to strengthen my immune system so I don't get sick everytime my 5 and 6 year olds do!
