I had a personal trainer that said an apple about 45 minutes before the work out. It really worked great for me and he worked my butt off for a full hour and I was good until I got home.

A couple of my favorites are Breakstones 2% cottage cheese with rice crackers and turkey or ham slices with Laughing Cow Light Garlic and Herb Cheese (35 cals) spread cheese on lunch meat and roll up.

Yay You! It's a hard journey, that why MFP is so wonderful - we get to do it together and meet new people.:flowerforyou:

We've made them. My boys didn't like them, but I did. More for me.
-
Love it!

Feel free to add -- only open to friends.

Please don't let those that don't approve of your desire for other Christian friends on MFP bother you. Phil 4:9!

Just finished week 1-- Day 3 was hard! I'm 167 and not in shape at all. My husband did it with me the past 2 work outs and I'm like "honey, can't you just feel the fat jiggling off!" Hee hee.

If whisky, Gin, Vodka or even a cognac and other distilled alcohol are made with no sugar, then they are carb free. The flavored vodkas are not. You also have to add a carb free mixer, like club soda.

Love mine here in Dallas. I like the 30 minute circuit training best. It does have everything, unless you want group aerobic classes, spin and those sort of things. They do have FREE personal training available. Mine brings in pizza the first Monday of the month for free and Einstein bagels and coffee the 1st Tuesday of…

I agree with what has been said so far, the only other thing I might contribute is "change up" your workout routine and your food choices. Our bodies get used to the same routine and don't respond any longer. Try a different cardio exercise or something completely different altogether. Change up the foods you are eating as…

Thanks for sharing, going to try it. What about using plain Greek yogurt instead of cream cheese? I think it was the rice though that killed the cals, it would be good rolled up in corn tortillas too or over corn chips.

Know you can get back on track. You are just one meal/walk away from beginning again. We all struggle with the ups and downs. For me its exercise, but MFP people kick me in the *kitten* and motivate. When you don't feel you are getting the feedback you need reach out. I know myself and SuperAmie are always active and…

Now I know why I stay away from this place. It's Not Fun, It's Not Chit Chat, It's not Games. It's a place to be rude to one another. You all have a great day and know I'm laughing and smiling at you all and sorry I did not provide the smut you were looking for. W To those that were not, thank you!

One of the keys to MFP is making friends and having that support. I'll go and request to friend you. If okay with you I'll ask my current friends to go find you too!

Ooops, guess I need to learn how to read, hee hee. New Haven. Kind of a drive.
-
My Sister! She introduced me to MFP -- now doesn't use it! She lives near Ashford. Where are you at?

It is NOT a myth, why not do a challenge. For 1 week try and get 6-8 glasses of "water" each day. Put all other drinks under meals or snacks and see what happens. I'm confident you will see a big difference in weight loss, skin & hair health, and just overall feeling better.
-
Sounds awesome. Thanks.

Hi there, I'm Michele. Please add me, would love to encourage you.
-
That is so awesome! Congratulations. With your positive outlook you can NOT lose this battle, only the weight. Good for you!
-
Ditto! Ditto! Ditto! Congratulations! You ARE on the right track. Make sure you are logging EVERYTHING and getting that water in! 2 most important things.
-
Add me!

Read all 3! They are great. My son was reading them and wanted to see movie. I love to read and NEVER watch a movie before a book. However, the movie is fantastic!

Every now and then we have to break down and eat something we don't want to. If it's driving you that nuts -- have some. You will have to work harder the next few days. So ask yourself? "Is it worth it?" If the answer is yes, then go for it. If you are not willing to give these things up for the rest of your life -- then…

As someone said, motivation does come and go, the friends on MFP help me stay positive and the fact that every little success is just 1 step closer to your goals. Focus on NSV (non-scale victories). For example, your clothes fit a little looser, you didn't eat the donut at the office. I'll go add you now.

I think the exercise you are doing is great and strength training is so important for so many reasons. What does your food intake look like? Are you logging everything, including exercise? Are you drinking at least 6-8 glasses of water per day? You might want to get feedback on this. If you are not comfortable with making…

Tuesday mornings. No particular reason why, just when I started MFP, I guess.

Welcome aboard the MFP train. What a ride it is and can be. It's an awesome sight. As others have said a big part of making it successful are friends that are encouraging, logging and water. Feel free to add me.
