I carb cycled for a long time and I always lifted on high carb days. I can slug through cardio without the carbs, but they were critical on lifting days for me. That's just my experience though.

Ha days 4 and 5 are the worst, talk about wanting to kill someone! I love whole30 and follow the program 95% of the time in normal life. I have completed one and it was great! I just don't have the allergies and issues most use it for, it did teach me a lot about self control.

Get the book she mentioned, it'll tell you everything you need to know. Cheap off Amazon, I used it for 6 months and had great results.

Great job! I wrap up my first whole30 Tuesday, I would love to see a 21 lb loss! Not sure it'll happen, it's been fun but I'm ready to indulge in a few treats as well! Keep up the great work!

I think you nail it here in this description. I'm on day 24 and I am truly ready to enjoy some of the finer things lol. Cheese, beer, coffee creamer etc. whole 30 takes a lot of food prep and time in the kitchen, but so far it's been worth it. More than anything it has shown me that I can go a day without grazing and exert…

I'm on day 22 today, been a journey not sure how much weight I have lost. Dying to get on the scale next Tuesday and find out. I have enjoyed it but I am ready for coffee cream and to have some normal foods fit in my calorie allowance. This was more or less a personal challenge I set. I have learned a lot about what I can…

I am a district manager for Burger King and I gained almost 70 pounds the first year I worked there. I have lost all of it now, but I had to stop eating it for sure. Now I pack my lunch everyday and if I want something from there I squeeze it in on the calories every now and then. It keeps me sane, you can do it!

Progress not perfection! I hear ya, this first time I ran a mile without stopping I was looking for a podium and a medal lol someone is always faster and someone will always be slower; but as long as I am moving I'm lapping everyone on the sofa!! I'm going to start lifting more weights soon, running is love hate and tough…
