That sounds pretty accurate. I have lost 26 lbs and went down two pants sizes almost in a third.

I would up the cardio and lower the calories. They also say that stress lives in the belly an rears its ugly head in the form of fat. Try to get a good amount of sleep also.

I run 7-9 miles 4 days a week. I try to keep my pace around a 6.2 . I usually burn 1500 calories when I am done. 1200 if I only go 7 miles.

1500 on the days I run and 400 on my off days. I run 3-4 days a week and mountain bike the other 3.

$5800.00 on braces, shouldn't of fought my parents on this as a kid. Straight teeth are worth every penny.

I am giving them to some of the girls in my office. I have also donated some of them. I have not lost enought weight at this point to get rid of too much stuff.

I tried to quit tracking for three days and gained weight. I definitley need to see the numbers in order to keep myself on track. When you plug something in and realize that it is twice the amount of calories than you thought it was, is enought to keep me at MFP.

YES!, same one. I put in that I do 3-5 days of exercise (I do 4 so seemed accurate). That is the result I recieved. Doesnt make sense and I am sure NOONE on this webiste would agree with this result.

LAst night I stepped on the scale and realized I had lost 2 lbs. I had not worked out since Monday and so I didnt believe it and got back on. Sure enough 2 lbs down. Guess all those veggies I ate this week paid off. I love the small things in life.

I took this survey and it says I should eat 1079 calories per day. I would get slaughtered on this website if I told people I was eating 1079 per day.

True ! In the area that I live in, kids are in sports all year round. Thier parents do not give them a break in the summer or winter. I blame the parents and the price of food. Its much cheaper to buy a happy meal than to go to Whole Foods and buy an entire meal that you have to cook. Not to mention all the single moms out…

I started this journey in April at your exact meaurements (5'4,160). I have been sticking to a 1200 per day and it works for me. I also work out 5 days a week and do eat back my exercise calories on occasion (couple times a week) but never more than 200-300 calories. Many peopel on here will tell you that is too low. I…

I agree, I have issues with my knees when I run outside. I also feel that the treadmill keeps me consistant and its easier to gauge when I need to move my speed up a notch.
