Recumbant bike

How good of an exercise is 30-45 minutes on a recumbant bike? Is it a good cardio exercise for person with bad knees ?

Yes, it is, as long as you're at a level hard enough that your HR is elevated. I use the recumbent bike for 15 minutes after doing 30-45 on the treadmill. I like mixing up my cardio routine.
The recumbent bike is excellent for your butt, too! My glutes always burn when I'm riding.0 -
I also bike after my run. Works different muscles and gives me a complete work out.0
