I agree, noone understands how daunting it can be to track your food EVERY day and to expose it to the internet. You have to be "IN IT" to appreciate the journey.

Pretty sure DIET is NOT an exercise. I also agree that running is GREAT for your abs. I do no abs work outs, just running and my tummy is pretty flat. You can actually feel your stomache muscles contract when you are out jogging.

I thought the same thing when I read this thread. Four drinks a day is offiicially a habit. This person is either VERY young and still has a high metabolism or does not have a lot of weight to lose.

Everything in moderation my dear ! I cut way back on drinking when I stared on MFP. It has done wonders for my metabolism and I feel SOOO much better. IF you read through this entire thread you will see a pattern of responses : Moderation and Commitment. This will be the key to your success !

IF this is truly your diet then I believe your body is going into starvation mode. It is simply storing any form of carb and sugar that you intake in fear that it will be cut off. You need to up your food calories to 1300-1400 a day. I recently went from 1200 to 1278/1300 and lost 4 lbs. Good Luck !

I do boxing punches (25 per arm) and LOTS of push ups. I once read that men and women should do 25 push ups every day for definition in your arms. GOOD LUCK !!

Cardio is absolutley necessary if you want to lose and maintain. Women need more cardio then men, just the way it is. I will never stop running as that is the key to my success and make me feel mentally and physically unstoppable.

I used to bruise under my big toes from running. Found out from my chiro that I was not switching my shoes as often as I should. You should get new shoes every 3-4 months.

I wish someone would have told me how important a good pair of running shoes can be for your progress. They make all the difference and can give you the extra ummmpf when you need it.

I also agree with not eating your exercise calories. I stopped adding these and the scale started to move for me. I also increased my intensity with my work out. I run and so I went up a couple MPH.

I also agree that you are running too fast. SLow it down but keep the distance. If you run atleast three days a week you will build up the stamina and your shins will buidl muscle to support you.
