i've felt that way too and it is discouraging!! i decided that i just would not weigh myself during that time bc i know that the weight it is telling me has water weight included. try to hide the scales for a week and then go back. try to stay positive!! and yes, men suck for not having to deal with this!!! :happy:

i really appreciate all the helpful and positive feedback i received. i will try some of the tips i received and check out the information. i was unaware of the BMR and TDEE, so this is def something i will b looking into. it's nice to have a place to go for support! THANKS!!!!

that is exactly how i do it too! i eat "light" during the day and try to save most of calories for my dinner. i will try switching things around and see if that will help any! thanks!

so i should b eating more calories? jacqueling, how long did it take for u to lose the 20 pds after your calories were adjusted?

i do have some days on the weekend where i have gone over my calories or where i try to keep track in my head instead of logging everything. i try not to go overboard on my "cheat" day, but know that i have exceeded my 1200 calories. would that have a large impact on how i am losing?

i have 30-40 pds to lose. i do record everything i eat too. i think i have done a good job of recording proper portion control, tho sometimes it is hard to get an exact read. should i b taking in less calories per day for wanting to lose that amount of weight?

i've tried the 30 day shred a couple times but i always give up after a couple days, or even a couple minutes!, because it is very strenuous! i know it has to b to gain results in 30 days, but i find it very hard to stick with it. does anyone have any tips to keep going?
