  • Hi there. I do not have much input because I just started following EM2WL about 2 weeks ago. Like you I was on WW and not having any luck. I had done ww 7 years ago and lost a lot of weight and kept it off until I got pregnant. Then after the birth of my daughter I lost 13lbs and stalled out. I ended up quitting.. only to…
  • I am so glad I found this thread. I am going through something similar as the poster. Need to read this more indepth and figure out how to get the scale moving again!
  • Just opened my diary but it's only for the past 2 days. I was tracking everything on WEight watchers previously. OH and I weight and measure everything! If WW taught me one thing that it was to make sure you know what you are eating!
  • Thanks Jen I am going to check that site out.
  • I lost 8lbs when I did 30ds. I do not have pictures but after being out of shape for about 2 years and still carrying around "baby weight" it completely change my body!!!
  • You have to stick with it. I am 5'2 and I lose VERY VERY slow.I started around the same start weight as you and I have lost about 15lbs since January. Some weeks it's a .2 loss. Some weeks it's a gain ( I follow weight watchers) Exercise is KEY too. I feel like even though the scale isn't moving I'm toning and my body is…
  • I agree with the previous poster. If you are not happy with their services find someone else to work with. If you are preparing your own meals why not try weight watchers? IMHO they are awesome!
  • I have posted in some other Shred Threads. I am day 23 now and I have lost 8.2lbs so far and a ton of inches. I am also doing Weight Watchers at the same time. I have nothing but raves about 30 day shred!
  • I am about to start level 3 tomorrow.. I skipped a few days or did other workouts. SHred is amazing!!! It was $9 at target and has transformed my body. I have lost 8.2lbs in about 3 weeks. My pants are all loose, shirts loose. Muscles in my arms coming back. IT's soooo worth it!!!
  • I love love love ww! I did it about 7 years ago, attained lifetime and stayed at my goal for about 3 years before becoming pregnant with my daughter. I gained 55lbs during that time and joined a month after I gave birth. I struggled. It didn't work for me like it did the first time and I gave up. Fast forward 2+…
  • Amazing!!!! I started around your same start weight almost 3 weeks ago and I'm already down 7lbs. Hoping to be as successful as you!
  • I would think your body would get so used to it if you did level 1 for 30 days. It's all about the shock to the system. I'm on day 3 of level 2 and I already see a huge difference in my body. I found that I usually start of a level not great and finish strong. Like I was doing beginning push ups in level one and by the end…
  • I had a BMF (just regular one ) last year. It was fun and all but I admit I hated it after awhile especially in the summer because it was so clunky and big and hte probes on the monitor always left red marks on my skin. I was thinking about getting the link and then I read some reviews on a blog online or maybe here…
  • I finished level one last night and I am SORE! not sure if because I was following the advanced moves the past few days. Deeper squats, heaver weights, real pushups... Curious to see what level 2 brings!
  • Hey again! I just finsihed level one day 10 tonight. I used 5 lb weights and for the chest curls I used 10lbs.
  • This is the only exercise I am doing now besides trying to get 10,000 steps a day on my fitbit. I hope to go running one night this week so here and there I will take a day off from shred and try something else. I honestly feel like I ran a marathon by the end of the 25 minutes.
  • I hate those squat presses thank goodness they are first up in the circuit!!!!! I think diet totally plays a huge roll in this too.I love love love mfp because it was free and the community that is here but I needed some more rules to keep me in check. I totally credit half the loss to the workout and half to the diet!
  • Thanks everyone! andante92: My intention was to do this 10 days straight on each level. On day 4 I had a headache so I skipped and on day 8 I was out all day and exhausted so I skipped. I try to do 10 days on each level though before I move on. LongMom: I recently cancelled my gym membership because it was difficult to get…
  • I started 30DS 9 days ago and I LOVE IT so far. I am down 4.8lbs since starting but I am following weight watchers.
  • Great job and very inspirational! I had my daughter 2 years ago and I'm a little below your starting stats. Tell me about your success with 30ds?? I am about to start it today!!!
  • Seems like the stuff I am already eating. But more!! OMG. I fear I am going to blow up!!! This is so nerve wracking for me. Who has had success from eating this way? Has it caused things to get moving again? I can not accept staying at this weight any longer!
  • I was doing a 1200 calorie diet for awhile then I took a stab at "Paleo" and I wasn't counting calories at all. Then August I went on vacation and all hell broke loose when I discovered Krispy Kreme in Myrtle Beach. Since then I have been all over the map. HIGH some days lows others. Not tracking at all. So I'm not sure I…
  • Thanks for the encouraging words! Here's some background info.... It's really been messing with my head the past 2 years since I gave birth to my daughter (her birthday is actually this Saturday) I gained so much and I wasn't really out of control but I was all back to weight watchers I go. I was convinced it would fall…
  • It's so much easier said than done to put the scale away. I feel like I have to care because I am at an "OBSESE" weight right now. Why can't I break out of the 150's???? Sorry to sound like I am whining LOL.
  • Thanks for the quick reply! I am 33 158.4 5'3 I selected exercise 1 to 3 hours a week for my activity level. Exercise varies for me. I have been doing 5 minutes warmup of cardio/ 5 minutes cool down then about 30 minutes of lifting heavy weights on machines. I try to switch it up with an exercise video thrown into the mix…
  • Amazing and inspiring!
