do what u love. a good diet and active lifestyle is the key. there r sooo many weight lifters who r not healthy.

@serenafisher is a babe

although being in a cal deficit could be the cause, it is probably due to the blood rushing from the upper part of ur body to ur legs and the up and down motion from the squats.

yes, it will work if u are in a calorie deficit. most experts would recommend 1 gram of protein per pound of lean body mass. but that is for optimal benefits in advance strength/muscle building athletes. ur macros will work! good luck!

yes, if the lifting puts u in a calorie deficit.
-
whether u do full body or body splits workouts, both can be effective

congrats on ur recovery!

hi. the key to permanent weight loss is to find a calorie deficit that u r comfortable with. but there is a law of calories in vs cala out that is always in play. if reduce ur maintenance cals by 500 daily u will lose about a pound. the energy loss has to come from somewhere. but for some 500 cals is too steep. maybe u…

ur cal deficit was extremely small

and what if after 3 months u find out it didnt work? 3 months wasted! if u r in a proper calorie deficit, the weight should start coming off 1-2 weeks.
-
try using the food scale. weigh and measure everything. u got this!
-
alot of judgmental people on this site. would u cut off someone if u thought they ate too much? or is it because u got this diet thing down to a science that u have no patience for others learning as they go?

live and let live. if u dont like them. delete them.

bro! if it aint broken, dont fix it!

when u cut from 26% to 13%, u will look like u put on 20 pounds of muscle. u will also make strength gains. good luck on ur cut.

i go by a 2 day total. waiting a week maybe to late to affect change
-
great job on the 110lbs loss. sometimes after a long period of dieting ur metabolism slows down aliitle. u eitther have to restrict cals further, increase exercise, or try cycling ur carbs. good luck
-
hi! i would focus on getting ur diet in check. never bulk until u have mastered the discipline of cutting weight.

I agree! but i don not agree that woman who are 40%+ BF would have their metabolism adapt that they would stop losing weight at 1200 cals. i think they r probably not accounting for all their cals.

less calories being used to digest food

i wish u the best of luck with ur weight loss. i dont not think it is becuz u r eating 1200 cals that u r not losing weight. i looked at ur profile and it seems that u have tried many many diets and not been successful. all diets have pretty much the same principle-burn more cals than u take in. maybe try to find out the…

nice work!

i like to steam my veggies if i am watching calories. oils and sauces can add 300+ cals easy.

hi. good luck on ur decision to use mfp. just my opinion but 2000cals may be too much and to quick of a cal reduction. u may find it to harsh and quit. maybe try 2750 at first and when the weight loss slows down cut another 250 cals. at 315lbs starting weight u will lose pounds quickly. good luck again
