HI! I just turned 37 a couple of weeks ago and have 2 month old twins. I also have four other daughters (ages 11, 9, 7, and 3). I need to shed some of this weight (about 45 lbs) so I can keep up with them all!

I really think if you just watch your portions, you will be fine! Eat what you want, but if the serving is large, eat only half. Enjoy your vacation, and if you put on a few pounds, just be ready to hit it hard when you get home!

I'm a bit behind the curve here (since it's the 5th) but I am ready to join you all! I was about 163 last time I checked..will weigh in tomorrow morning and make an official "start" weight. Aiming to lose at least albs by March 1st….and another 10lbs during the month of March. Here we go!!!! :) :) :)

You are absolutely right that this is how I should be thinking about what I eat…and I have been able to get there before and stick to it for years. I've not been so successful since having my last baby 9 months ago. It's not as much what foods I'm eating, as it is the quantity. I know I have a sugar addiction problem…

I'm right there with you! I had reached my goal last spring, but then got pregnant over the summer and have gained it all (plus some) back. I have a good 50 lbs to lose. I'll be taking it slow since I'm nursing, but this time next year I plan to be in the best shape of my life! Feel free to add me :)

You've got this! We all have those days/weeks...I am also a mother to three little girls and recently had some emergency medical issues with my middle child--ate like crap for three days straight! :/ All that really matters is that you get back at it and keep moving forward! :)

I struggle with cheat days..always have. I did the same thing as you for a long time and one day I decided to focus on commitment to the lifestyle instead of focusing on the number on the scale. I started rewarding myself for going so many days without cheating (with non food items of course ;) ) ...and after a few weeks…

I gave up diet dr. pepper cold turkey last December (and I was drinking at least 6 cans a day :/ ) I was miserable and had a headache for about four days..but once I got past those first days, it has been SO much easier...stick with it!
