I made a reallllly good one yesterday with frozen strawberries and blueberries, 1 vanilla yoplait, and a little milk. I have a crappy blender so I used my Pampered Chef Manual Food Processor and it was perfect! I'm glad I came on here to check for some ideas!!

Wow! That is amazing all that you've done in so little time! That's definitely the mother of all NSV's! Keep doing what you're doing! Very inspirational! And very well written!

With the frozen bananas, you can even make banana ice cream! That's really good! I want a smoothie now!

MMM these all sound sooo good! I definitely need to get a new blender and some protein powder now! When you use frozen fruits, are they store bought frozen or fresh then you freeze them? I am sooo thirsty for some vanilla almond milk right now after reading all these! I LOVE it ! Thank you everyone for all the ideas!

LOL that's all just lunch??

Thank you all for the delicious sounding suggestions! I definitely always make a veggie but they get boring! So seeing some of these ideas will definitely come in handy. Now this may be a dumb question but....is sauteeing basically "frying"? I always feel like I'm making a food unhealthy if I'm doing that. As far as what…

Good job! I'd say you should start wearing more colorful stuff now! No need to mask it with the black!

This posting really made me LOL and some of the responses you got too! Good job on your NSV though! And thank you for making me smile today!! Much needed!

This is what I remind myself of when I have days like this (and I can tell you that you ROCK because I feel like I have days like this weekly!) I saw on Dr Oz that it's actually good to have a day that you "spike" your calories. It definitely has to do with what someone else said about boosting metabolism because I've also…

mmm i can't wait to try this!! sounds delicious!!

I use cottage cheese and maybe a tsp of some kind of dressing just for the flavor. It's delicious!

Good job, girlfriend! Thank you for sharing!

I DEF agree with JayAlexander about the measurements! I'm on day 11 of the shred (8 of level 1, today will be 3 of level 2) and I haven't seen much of a change in the scale but I have lost an overall 4 1/2 inches already! You will get your butt kicked but it goes so fast! The first day I did level 2 I used 5 lb weights and…

HAHA yeah that obstacle course one?? omg that one is awesome! all those ups and downs are great!

Thank you all for your input!

I was just about to post this same thing. I'm on day 8 of level 1 and honestly feel like I pulled something in both quads. I know what the normal soreness feels like and this isn't it. Normally when I push through, I won't feel the soreness anymore but this is effecting how I can do the squats and the other leg exercises.…

Sounds like we both have the same goal!! Although yours is more attainable! My birthday is in April so I'm pretty sure that won't happen for me but you can DEFINITELY do it! Good luck!

I love your quote! If you bite it, write it! Too funny!

Wow you guys are all wonderful!! Well I will have to figure out how to unblock my food diary, I didn't even realize it was. BUT I will add for this past weekend that Saturday I did not finish the log because I was just disgusted that I kept eating and eating! Then yesterday I had tried this recipe I'm making for my…

another idea i just saw recently, cut up some bananas, freeze them for about an hour, then put them in a blender or food processor. makes banana ice cream. add some peanut butter and/or honey/agave nectar for more flavor. yummmy!

I think a whole cookbook for it would be wonderful! I will be going to our Spring Launch meeting in Feb so hopefully I get the lowdown on it! :) Yes, the whole chicken turns out great in the microwave. I've made it twice so far and my family loves it very much!

I decided to take back the Zumba (they took it back because they've had so many people having issues with it, even though I had no issues with the disk) and got Dance Central. I do like it, but for the workout aspect, I liked the zumba better and I am sad I got rid of it. I may end up going back to get it again eventually.…

Another NSV I have to mention is that I started doing the 30 day shred again to supplement my aerobics class and I have been KICKING BUTT! I'm starting with level 1 but am finding that I can do MORE than what they are doing and don't feel as if I'm going to die when I'm done! I love this new me!

well apparently what i was drinking was actually seltzer. i'm sorry! lol tonic has some calories and some sugars and apparently seltzer does not. but still, it's a better choice than beer ;)

well i wasn't sure about it myself at first but with the flavoring in the vodka, you can't even tell it's tonic. it's just like a vodka and sprite. that's another thing i drink a lot is rasp or cherry vodka (even whipped vodka mmmm) with sprite zero. very delicious!

Well I actually have zumba and have used it a few times but I just feel like I'd like dance central better. I still have time to take zumba back and get dance central so I wanted to get everyone else's thoughts before I did it. The couple of times I used zumba, I did burn a lot of calories but the cooldown was the same…

DEF kinect. The games for both are pretty much the same and you don't need to worry about the paddle in the kinect! And you can add weights to your workouts without having to worry about if your moves will be tracked correctly because of not being able to hold the paddle the right way.
