Thank you all!

I count the 'burnt calories' only when it's a steady cardio, however, I do use the HRM part for all the inappropriate activities as described above - simply to watch over my heart rate and its recovery. I have a different chest strap question - where do you buy a new one from? Mine is already getting a bit too loose after…

Whenever it is to make you do it. If you would rather have your days off and you are okay with getting up early - mornings, if you have long lunch hours - noon, if you would rather blow steam off after work - then it's the evenings. I'm definitely an evening person. Even on my days off work, I'd workout in the evenings,…

Not here. Shoes cannot be returned unless there is a defect. :\

Thank you all for your responses. Yes, I'm doing a lot of weight training ;) it's my main workout. Yes, I'm using two different pairs of shoes for the weight training and the cardio. And... as for going to another center... in my amazing country, I've found a single one, in the capital where I live, and it's that exact one…

I might do so. Thank you all for the tips and your words!

Thank you all for your answers! The problem is that there is a SINGLE store here that does this. And you can't get fitted unless you buy... I know that you might get injured even if you don't feel it right away, and that kind of worries me. What if my rare pains, turn out to be something major later on? I might be…

Thanks! Sometimes I feel pain. But it's quite rare - my calf would lock up, or my bad ankle would hurt. But usually I give it to a bad stretch/warm up or to overworking these muscles during the weight training.

Same goals more or less - currently 179ish, aiming to go to around 140ish at 5'7.

It's normal - the muscle was shortened, so now it gets pulled when you workout. If this is happening my guess is that you didn't get a proper rehab after the surgery? It has been four years so it has healed, but I'm not sure whether it wouldn't be better to check with the doctor whether you need rehab before going for…

I wear a long t-shirt. And I've come to the conclusion that whoever is having problems with seeing my undie-lines can just stop staring at my *ss. -shrugs- Was super freaked out about it at first though, but after a few times at the gym I realized no one was really paying attention to my *ss - whoever was looking at me was…

Thank you, guys! I'm doing the split with the PT for now just until I learn the moves and my muscles kind of get used to them (moving was extreeeemely fun after first legs day x'D ) @XavierNusum I've been trying to lose those 10-15kgs for so many years that it's not fun. Lost them, gained them back and now trying to do it…

Happy belated birthday! I glanced at your diary and I saw a lot of carbs and almost no protein. Switch things around for more success. *nods*

Also, I now remembered that it might be losing contact and so on if either the watch's or the strap's batteries are dying.
-
I personally strap mine directly under the bra. It never loses contact and the read seems accurate when compared to manual heartbeat count. Additionally - do you slightly wet the strap before putting it on? The sensors plates-things (sorry don't know the correct term in English) should be wet in order to stuck to the skin…

To someone like me who is also suffering from social anxiety and horrible, horrible past PT experience, thank you for posting this. It's a true inspiration... thanks.. maybe there's hope for me too...

I'm restarting my journey towards a 50lbs loss goal. 27, soon to be 28 female. Certainly wouldn't mind a few fresh friends <3

Got really upset/mad this morning and my usual reaction is just to find food and stuff myself. I thought about going to the store for chocolate/cookies/something/anything, but the moment this thought passed through my mind, another came up "What for? Blow your calories out of anger? Not worth it." And instead just got over…

Oh! I'd like to join! :D

I think the biggest changes I'm seeing is in my mentality and attitude towards... well... everything. I am getting better at handling my anxiety. I'm no longer fearing binges. I seek to get out on walks. I'm loving working out. I no longer use being late or having had a long tiring day as an excuse to stuff myself with…

Today the managers in my company went to a company lunch at this amazing restaurant. Instead of going for their usual highly caloric and amazingly delicious meals I went for beef fillet and salad! And in the end I didn't order desert despite absolutely loving theirs - I knew that each of their amazing cakes is a caloric…

I just started Max30 - loving it!

I'll send you a request :) I'm loving the workouts as well. Quite challenging, but I'm quite out of shape as well.
