Yeah, I had no idea they were taking away the scan option until this morning when I tried to use it. What complete f*$%ing b@llsh*t! I'm pissed off enough that I'm inclined to switch to another app and pay for it instead of this one.

My phone app and desktop won't update with the same info. I have to put things in manually in both. In other words, if I put things in on my phone app, I can usually go to my desktop, do a refresh, and all the info will show up there as well. It's not doing that.

Motivation can be somewhat important, but it is fickle and fleeting. Use motivation, but develop discipline and habits. When motivation wanes, sheer discipline can take over. Desire is also important. As with smoking or drinking too much, people won't quit until/unless they want to.

In my 20s and 30s, man did I beat myself up for missing a day of working out. Now that I'm older and more in tune with my body, there are days I am legit wiped out or exhausted (working night shift 5 nights a week will do that), and I just take the day off and don't flagellate myself over it. I enjoy the rest usually.

Here are a couple of sites where you can calculate your TDEE. You can eat at a 10%, 15%, 20% deficit of your TDEE. You can experiment with different calorie deficits to find what suits you, because yes, 1200 seems very low for your weight. You can customize you calorie limit on MFP also.…
